Acueil très sympathique. Petit déj complet, frais et local. Les propriétaires sont de vrais passionés qui rendent les lieux vivant. Hotel à recommander pour tous les passionés d'aviation qui veulent s'immerger dans l'univer du DDay, avec des anecdotes authentiques.

Wir waren 5 Nächte dort. Die Betreunung war aussergewöhnilch und herzlich. Uns fehlte es an Nichts. Die Hausherrin ist genial in ihrer Art und Weise.Alle Informationen über den D day bekommen sie exklusiv von ihr eindrücklich geschildert. In denen 2 Häusern befinden sich unzählige Gegenstände von der Zeit vom D-Day. Die Lage ist perfekt. In unmittelbarer Nähe befinden sie Restaurants direkt am Meer mit genialer Aussicht.Für weitere Ausflüge und Besichtigungen ist Arromanches ideal. Mir dem Fahrrad die Gegend zu erkunden ist zu empfehlen. Das Frühstück ist auch ein Erlebnis für sich. Es fehlt an nichts und jeder Wunsch wird erfüllt. Zu empfehlen ist das Auto gegen eine Gebühr im Haushof zu parken. Parkplätze gibt es sehr wenige in Arromanches und sind immer mit Gebühr.(2.5€ die Stunde) Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert und immer besser als ein gefühlloses Hotel! Sauberkeit ist gut und die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig.

This location was just amazing, and Paul was as well! It is centrally located to most all iconic landmarks & sights. The neighborhood was well lit, easily accessible and we felt very secure & safe. Paul, the Host could not have been nicer or any more accommodating to/for us. Always responded quickly & kindly and made us feel we had known them our entire lives. I would recommend this location for all these reasons & the fact it was extremely clean-spotless! The bedding, towels and amenities were above as described on their website. For so many more reasons that won’t allow here, I would recommend this to all my friends, Family and fellow Travelers! Thank you once again for an amazing experience! We WILL stay here again!! The B & B was a quiet, home like experience! The owners and staff were amazing and welcoming! The rooms are unique, big, and cozy. Our stay was at the end of our trip and really provided a great ending! We will be back to Normandy and we will be staying at DDay Aviators again!

We had a wonderful stay with D Day Aviators, the owners have spent a lot of time and effort on this property which is rich in Aviator history. Very comfortable room, in an excellent location, close to town and the D Day beaches.

IN THE HEART OF Arromanches-les-Bains! Blocks from the famous beaches! It was like staying in a museum! LOVED IT! Quaint little town - restaurants and pubs in walking distance. If you are a history buff - this is the place! Owner has been 'collecting' for over 22 years! WILL BE BACK AND STAY LONGER!

The house is a WWll museum with a fascinating history. It’s a beautiful old place.

I could not imagine a more perfect place for my family. We had a two week plus European vacation and this part was by far the very best. The hotel is essentially a museum and the owner is happy and adept and talking about the impressive array of artifacts he has collected, which make up the majority of the hotel's decor. Three of us are history buffs and we were blown away by his collection. The lodging itself is gorgeous, spacious, historic, and in a fantastic and unbeatable location. It is clean, their breakfast is wonderful, and they could not be sweeter or more helpful people. I absolutely cannot stress how much we loved every part of our stay in this hotel and we all four are longing to return someday. I absolutely know we will, except next time we will stay much, much longer. Thank you to all for having my family in your exceptional hotel.

From start to finish, the whole experience was incredible. Florence ( a qualified pilot ) not only introduced us to our room personally, she also took time to explain the history and provenance of the Air Battle artefacts that adorn the house. Such a wonderful place, we decided to stay another night. The house being quite literally yards from the beach itself. Our dog was welcomed with open arms and had a great time too. Would not hesitate to recommend.

‘D Day Aviators’ has two very clean buildings in Arromanches and we enjoyed a really clean, comfortable room and powerful shower in the original and smaller house which is literally a stone’s throw from the beach where the remnants of the Mulberry harbour are visible. This house, like the one two minutes away where you will be served an elegant breakfast, is packed with masses of aeronautical D Day memorabilia, and the host, who is clearly a genuine enthusiast, will ensure you are given a comprehensive tour of the collections. Location wise the ‘D-Day hotels’ are perfect for exploring Arromanches on foot and whilst town centre parking is available at a price (charges 9.00 ‘till 18.00), there is a free car park less than 5 minutes walk away. Electric vehicle drivers may wish to ensure they arrive with a good charge as the only charger we could locate in the town was not working when we visited at end June ’23.

Delightful and very welcoming hosts who offer a tour of their establishments which is full of detail and knowledge, they have a clear passion for what they do. D Day Aviators is very well equipped with very clean accommodation and everything you could need. Great sleep in comfortable beds. It is also so near to all amenities and steps from the beach. The only thing which did not seem evident on booking is that they require full payment in CASH on arrival. Could be tricky if you are not aware of this. Thank you for a wonderful time.

This is a beautiful and unique property. The displays of WWII memorabilia are both interesting and respectful. Our room was lovely and very comfortable. The staff with whom I interacted were friendly and helpful. Having trouble finding anything negative! We were worried it would be noisy that close to the main street, but it's on a side street and therefore very quiet. Full marks!

A fabulously eclectic hotel with an extremely friendly host, who would have given as much time as the guest wanted to explain the artefacts on display. SOOO interesting and cleverly incorporated into this themed hotel. We stayed in the annexe, extremely comfortable and well appointed. Check-in was in the main hotel, which also looked good.
