維拉德爾戈爾福生活方式度假村(Aethos Sardinia)

Villa del golfo ha un ristorante immerso tra il profumo del gelsomino e i colori accesi del bouganville. La professionalità e la cortesia del personale sono ciò valorizza di più questo posto. Un ringraziamento speciale va al Maître Daniele e al suo fedele Secondo Roberto per aver preparato e scelto per noi un tavolo con una vista fantastica su Cannigione, Baia Sardinia e la romantica piscina che con le sue luci e candele ha accompagnato la nostra cena. Lo Chef Valentino ha preparato per noi un Rombo freschissimo alla mediterranea accompagnato da un buon vino e cocktail preparati e proposti dal preparatissimo Barman Marino. Il tutto è stato preparato curando i minimi dettagli creando un equilibrio tra sapore e colori. Che dire di più ! Un ristorante dove trascorrere una piacevole cena in totale tranquillità, raffinatezza e gusto.

Struttura meritevole delle 5 stelle per accoglienza ( grazie alla preziosa Teresa !) e servizio ( riassetto camera due volte al giorno , dolcezze sarde alla sera pulizia ineccepibile) e per qualità del cibo . Colazione alla carte espressa , uova ricotta pancakes deliziosa con una vista sul golfo di Cannigione meravigliosa ! Grazie a Luca e Paolo .. ragazzi che la proprietà deve tenersi stretti ! Se dovessi dare dei suggerimenti : migliorare il Wi-Fi ( non prende bene da nessuna parte ) e rivedere un po’ i prezzi del ristorante alla carte perché un po’ sopra alla Media dei ristoranti (molto buoni ) della zona . Per il resto consiglio vivamente le suite vista mare per godere dei colori della Sardegna per tutta la vacanza . Posizione invidiabile ! Ritorneremo sicuramente!

Sehr ansehliches und sauberes Hotel mit einem schönen Ausblick aufs Meer. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Ausstattung, Grösse und Annehmlichkeiten im Zimmer waren perfekt. Das Restaurant ist auch sehr zu empfehlen, zwar etwas kleine Portionen, aber geschmacklich top. Die Lage ist auch gut, man ist schnell im Dorf und nicht weit von Palau, Olbia oder Arzachena entfernt.

Spettacolare e super accogliente! Il personale è splendido, pasti eccellenti, un vero e proprio paradiso. Io e la mia amica ne siamo rimaste davvero soddisfatte, ci torneremo l’anno prossimo senz’altro. Consigliatissimo!!

We stayed for three days at the end of our holiday touring the north of Sardinia and enjoyed an entertaining little treat. The hotel hub and rooms are spread over the hillside with fantastic see views. There are two pools; the main pool located near the dining, breakfast and lounge areas and an infinity pool at the top of the resort, a mini adventure to find on your first day. The hotel is under new ownership and they are striving for a five star service but this is a little problematic when the resort and therefore its style and decor are probably twenty or so years old. Our room was lovely and we enjoyed the brand new bedding (especially the sheets) and towels; we had a small terrace and lawn area with a short walk to the lower pool and main hub. The service was fun because the staff are young and learning, which we found entertaining whilst more seasoned five star travellers might find a little annoying. The breakfasts are great and a real treat each morning whilst the dinner menu is style over substance, both food and wine seriously overpriced. There is better food ten minutes along the seafront path in Cannigione (first restaurant on your right just before the beach) great food, service and views especially if you find on the terrace. Overall great place to stay and real treat but not yet five star although I am sure things will improve as they learn and develop the resort

After delays leaving London we finally arrived in Olbia where the hotel has kindly arranged transfers to the hotel via private company so we didn't have the stress of finding a taxi( approx. 25 minutes drive £70 each way). Upon arriving at villa del golfo we were greeted by a lovely concierge who told us about the room and a little about the hotel.(best to scan the digital concierge at reception for more details or in your room) We was then taken to our room via golf buggy which was fun!. We where staying in a suite but was informed we had been upgraded complimentary which meant we stayed in a suite with a private pool. The hotel is suited in a small town on cannigione which is 10 minute walk down the promenade along the shore line where you can find places to eat and drink and local supermarket for supplies.The hotel uses WhatsApp for restaurant bookings and request which I found super helpful when deciding on last minute restaurants etc when out for the day. And was always super quick to reply. The hotel is spread over a relatively big area our room 702 was just a short walk via shortcut to the main reception and pool and had great views of the location. The accommodation is veryclean,tidy with comfortable sofa and bed with fridge(non alcoholic beverages such as water and cola)and authentic Sardinian design which I wanted not ultra modern with no personality. The whole hotel is very well maintained and looks very cared for with beautiful flowers. We had Delicious cocktail drinks at Mira Luna lounge on several nights the 2 gentlemen there very polite and courteous. And a delicious pizza, pasta at The cutter lounge down the road. We also did the authentic Sardinian set menu at la colti. One of the waiters was a bit rushy but we found this comical. Reed reviews before you go to know what to expect. Breakfast is a mix of continental and Italian cheese and meat cuts. You also have option of eggs scrambled ,etc. We asked reception for maps of the area on our 1st full day which where greatly appreciated and helped guide us whilst we where there. Overall we had a really pleasant stay and would like to thank everyone who helped during the time, always friendly and answering requests. Compared to other 5 star hotels I've stayed in. I would give this hotel 4.5 stars. See below reason. *Note no iron allowed or available at this resort but they do offer a ironing service which I feel they could easily adjust because who knows what you want to wear each day. So iron your clothes before you go is a recommendation if not wanting to use the service. Also Wi-Fi didn't work which we was informed about at check in on Sunday and remained like this until Weds/ Thursday unfortunately. We didn't use room service as wasn't needed but €30 euro charge for something sent to room seemed high. I've not seen this in many other 5 star hotels I've stayed in. Tips for the hotel. The pros: the hotel was clean, the new infinity pool and bar was nice with a good view. The cons: the staff does not provide 5 star service. We came on our honeymoon which was never acknowledged. We stayed at 4 other 5 star hotels throughout our honeymoon that all went above and beyond. When we pulled up to the reception, no one helped us with our bags or came out to greet us. The breakfast was a bit lackluster. The vibe of the hotel was also a bit strange. It seemed as though no one was staying there (never anyone by the pool or in common areas). It was very hard to find the amenities around the property (no map or proper signage). Lastly, the design was very simple and a little tacky.
