皇冠酒店(Crown Hotel)

The room was great size and the bed was very comfy+very friendly team!!♡ But unfortunately, the room was a bit dated -both room and bathroom need decoration and paint. Also, shampoos etc in the bathroom were advertised as miniature exclusive selection but in reality there were big bottles (and soup/shampoo mixed with water:( Too expensive for what you get.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights with a group of friends. My room was on the ground floor of what I’ll call the annex. It was comfortable and well equipped, but the night time lighting was very poor with only bedside lamps, a desk lamp and standard lamp all of which had dark shades. The only window in the room was a set of French doors which led to the patio, not very private and there was noise from public areas and you couldn’t really open them for ventilation. Fortunately it had an effective air conditioning unit. The public areas were extensive inside and out. Food and drink prices were quite high in my mind, London prices I assumed. Breakfast was excellent. Restaurant meals were generally ok, but my main course for dinner was just luke warm. There were some alternate excellent restaurants close by. There was a large free car park although this got very busy on Saturday night mainly due a function going on. Staff were helpful and friendly. The annex had no lift. Not sure I would stay here again.

The courtyard and fish pond were lovely, and the decor was really nice and fitting for the property. Waiting staff were really helpful and friendly. Beds were comfortable, bathroom facilities were great, and the toiletries smelt divine. Tea and coffee were good too.

Great place to stay, was only there for a night on the way to heathrow but great location that wasnt right at the airport and the staff were incredibly friendly

A very nice character hotel, they put on a wonderful spread for a family celebration. Great a**osphere and a simply a nice place to eat at and stay.

Beautiful sweet hotel. Rooms were very clean, spacious and recently reburbished. Breakfast was excellent, worth every penny. Very cosy bar/restaurant attached. Highly recommend.

We had 3 rooms for 1 night and 1 room for 1 night for a friends visit to Thorpe Park. All good and lovely staff, comfy beds and a big bath to soak in after walking all day and night!
