林克酒店(Link Hotel)

Room is a bit shabby but so far not bad. Stuffs are helpful. The restaurant next door is great. A pleasant stay overall.

Fairly basic rooms as expected. Average value for money. They were very strict on 'no early check-in' which was a bit surprising as they were clearly almost empty. Also, they put us in the furthest room away from reception for some reason, was a 5 minute walk to get to it. My wife is heavily pregnant, so this was a bit annoying. After we had settled in, we went down to the reception and asked why we were put so far. The receptionist was nice (different one to the one earlier who refused us early check-in) and offered us a nearer room, but at that stage we didn't want to go and move our bags (we were only staying 1 night) In summary, few small things would have made this stay nicer for us, but it was more or less as I expected.

The Link Hotel is a lovely hotel. Friendly welcoming reception staff, clean spacious room. Good menu for the restaurant, and a lovely plentiful breakfast. Friendly staff throughout the hotel. Competitive room rate.

Receptionist when I checked in was extremely pleasant. Room was nice. Hotel is extremely close to Loughborough university which was the reason for the stay.

It was a very pleasant stay. It was however far too hot and when arrived portable heater was on full. Air con/heater system wasn't work in room but generally just too hot.

Great place to stay and good value for money. Staff very friendly and helpful. Have stayed previously and found great. Our room this time was a little tired and light switches a bit hit and miss.

All of a high standard although there was a slight problem after we had booked breakfast for the morning of our departure. The charge had appeared on my card but the booking had not appeared on the restaurant breakfast listing. Only after I showed reception the bank listing for the payment was the booking accepted. The reception staff who took the breakfast reservation had not entered it in their system despite taking the payment! Reception agreed that I must have booked it as the total bill for our stay included the room fee plus £24 for 2 breakfasts. I asked for a printed final bill showing zero net amount to pay, which was no problem for reception to provide.

Staff are so accommodating and go out of their way to help you. The hotel is situated in a good location and easy to find. Really can’t fault the stay from start to finish and the all the staff made this possible.
