very nice accommodation with everything you need.they have open for us in wintertime thank s a lot for this. friendly professional hosts, artist, we are happy to recommend this place at any time.

I had mixed feelings about this place after 2 weeks driving on the ring road. The owners are very friendly, the tents are clean and very well appointed with heaters and heated blankets. The tent ground is on the property of an old school-turned guesthouse, and WC/ shower facilities are shared among all tentgoers; they could use updating. A sit-down breakfast was available by reserving in advance- in retrospect something we should have done. Little was available with their continental option, especially in comparison to what we became used to at other places in Iceland. All that aside, the roughest part were the other tent campers. Someone kept circling a drone over the tents well past 9PM, and others played basketball until almost midnight. Noise carries in the valley, and the tents are fairly close together for so many guests. With the high season, it was too noisy for comfort.

What a whirlwind our trip turned out to be! We originally did not have reservations for the Godaland Guesthouse as we embarked on our adventure in Southern Iceland. Originally we had hotel reservations in Hella that were booked months in advance and cancelled the day we were supposed to check in. (Not to mention we found out as we were coming off a very dusty 5 mile hike) ******* helped us find new accommodations and the Godaland Guesthouse was the only one available to take my group of 6 at the last second. While glamping was most definitely not on our itinerary or the most ideal situation at the time, we ended up enjoying our time spent there! The owners of the guesthouse were incredibly kind and welcoming which really helped the whole situation. The beds were comfortable and the experience was nice. Plus there was a community fridge we could put personal items in and they had many fun lawn games to take advantage of. As a word of warning to those considering, the shower situation is semi-private. (It's Europe so let's not act too shocked here) This was only a surprise since we weren't quite prepared for it but we made it work! We would also recommend bringing an eye mask to wear to bed as the sun shines through the tent fabric when it rises. (But it also doesn't really get dark in the summer so it came in handy) Overall we would most definitely return to the Godaland Guesthouse and are very thankful to have had the accommodations!

Amazing glamping, tents with great heated beds, cozy and romantic. Everything very clean and WC close to the glamping ground. Breakfast available in the service centre at additional fee. But coffee and te free of charge.

Combined stay with a couple of nights in Reykjavík. Travelled from there to a beautiful area of waterfalls and hiking/biking opportunities. We arrived to a warm welcome from the owners and stayed in the main building which had just had the private bathroom areas refitted to a very high standard. The tents are also fitted out to a high standard - more so than you’d imagine and which certainly puts the ‘glam’ into glamming! The spacious common room gives a place to chill and meet fellow guests. An ideal place to stay with lovely owners and staff, whether as a base for sight seeing or as a stopover passing through. Tips the free morning filtered coffee/tea is a great way to start your day off. Or you may wish to make use of the optional breakfast.

The tents are amazing, lovely setting- we stayed here on a very cold & rainy day( reel feel 3), but the tents were heated well and super comfortable mattrasses had option of heating...we loved this place and whish that we booked our entire stay here! Indoor facilities are spacious and very clean with great staff...:-)

One of our coolest experiences in Iceland! Room gets PLENTY warm with provided heaters and the staff was incredibly friendly and gave us great recommendations in the area. Do not be turned off by the idea of a tent, it was one of our best accommodations. Bathrooms / showers are shared in a school like facility, but we had no issues here. Definitely worth it for the experience. A bottle of sparkling lemonade was provided in tent.

Goðaland Guesthouse offers good view, friendly Staff and fresh air. Clean and warm place , coming back again! They have glamping and som outdoor activities. Run by a friendly couple, and they have great knowlege about the area!

Enjoyed our brief stay - staff was courteous and friendly. The location provided easy access to several sites we wanted to visit.
