We were staying in room 39 and found this room absolutely disappointing and appalling. Firstly, the room number outside the room is not displayed well with half of number 9 missing. Secondly, the room and equipment were intact however, it seemed the carpet had not been vacuumed before we checked in. Don’t think it was being vacuumed throughout the duration of our stay being 3 days. The bathroom tiles were dirty and reeked of sewerage smell. We reported this issue to management and there’s no denying that they promptly tried to address this. Unfortunately, despite the good customer service, it was only a temporary resolve of the issue. They had offered us to cancel the room but given the Easter long weekend, it was a challenge trying to find another accommodation and we therefore had no choice but to tolerate the room. Management had promised to temporarily mask the smell through bleach spraying on a daily basis whilst we were staying there, however this did not help with our comfort. On our second last day of our stay, management failed to continue to provide the service they had promised and so my partner and I had to tolerate our last days with the stench in the bathroom. I also had to squash a cockroach in the kitchen. Lastly, partner and I discovered what may have been bodily fluids marking on one of the armchairs.
Absolutely disgusted and disappointed with our stay. Never again. Pls address these issues for a better stay for the next people you’re going to put in there
