頓林大酒店(Dunlin Hotel)

とても素晴らしいホテルでした。場所はガイドブックなどでは治安の悪い地域とされていますが、大きめの通りから一本で入れて、またすぐ前の教会にはパトカーがよく駐在していて安心でした。（中心街と比べると雰囲気が悪めなのは確かで、陽が落ちてからは用心が必要です） 国立考古学博物館まで近いのも便利です。 部屋は綺麗で快適。特に最上階のテラスラウンジの眺望が素晴らしく、パルテノン神殿も綺麗に見えます。 朝食はビュッフェで、比較的簡素です。 アメニティは歯ブラシが無いので、待って行くことをお勧めします。

We stay here for the 2nd time. Super clean and comfortable for our family of 4, great breakfast with best view of Acropolis

El hotel está en buena ubicación, a tres cuadras está una para del turibus y estación del Metro, aunque está algo escondido y se llega por calle peatonal lo cual dificulta el primer acceso. Aunque llegamos temprano me dieron la habitación. Personal del hotel muy amable. La terraza del desayuno (incluido) con estupenda vista del Partenón!

I loved the hotel. The staff is extremely helpful and made sure my stay was beyond amazing. It’s good to remember that Athens is a big city. As with any city you should be aware of your surroundings. I was told this was not a great part of town but I thought it was perfect. It didn’t feel unsafe to me and it was in walking distance to a lot of shopping and sights. Plus the rooftop bar is a great place to relax and unwind at the end of a long day. Highly recommend the Dunlin.

Overall, it had everything we needed- a bed, shower, good aircon, fridge to keep things cool, and quiet, however the room was a little small. Unfortunately, we woke up on the first night to the smell of smoke in our room. When mentioning it to the staff, they were not super helpful or efficient in their efforts to sort it. We felt like we had to push for something to be done about it. Unfortunately we felt that they didn’t care about resolving the issue. After pushing, they found that the issue was the room below (the person had been smoking in their bathroom) and the room was cleaned. Although they couldn’t have helped the fact that the person below was smoking (despite the fact we were told on checking in to not smoke in the room), the staff member we spoke to didn’t deal with it as efficiently as we would have hoped. One thing to note, is the area is not the nicest. One of the positives is the shops around are cheaper than the shops more centrally located and it is close to the metro. However, I wouldn’t advise any women- be it in groups or solo to stay in the area, as my girlfriend mentioned to me that she felt unsafe walking through the area at night time. Overall, you’re getting what you pay for

Hotel was good, very friendly staff. Room was very clean. Convenient to the Acropolis. I recommend walking as you pass a great center with some good restaurants as well as a few other ruins along the way. My only gripe is while it is in walking distance of good parts of the city it’s also very near some less than good parts of the city. Bed comfort was okay. Good hotel, I would recommend for anyone wanting to visit the Parthenon and stay close. Not sure I would make a week out of it but only because of the location.

Do not pay for their breakfast. If you need a good cup of coffee, they give you coffee from a machine which is horrible. When I expressed my view she had a terrible attitude before I get a good cup of coffee from them and do not expect to get your refund if you don’t use the breakfast voucher.

Tres bel hôtel propre et moderne mais manque de sérieux pour la dame qui s'occupe des petits déjeuner car elle prefere rester sur son téléphone au lieu de débarrasser et nettoyer correctement ! L'emplacement est un reel problème car il se situe dans un quartier de drogués !!!! Les gens se piquent devant vous et vous avez des centaines de seringues par terre ! On ne se sent pas du tout en sécurité, ils font vraiment peur car ils vous regardent avec insistance, ils parlent tout seul et ils marchent comme des zombies !
