基爾代爾之家酒店(Kildare House Hotel)

Gelobt habe ich bereits das Restaurant The Gallops, das im Haus ist. Wir haben ein wirklich extrem günstiges Angebot gebucht, in dem Übernachtung, Abendessen und Frühstück enthalten waren. Das Essen war überraschend gut, das Hotel selbst hat Luft nach oben. Unser Zimmer war winzige. Die Fenster isolieren schlecht, so dass wir die vorbeiratternden LKW am frühen Morgen mehr als deutlich gehört haben. Zu Fuß geht es problemlos zum Outlet und in 20 Minuten zu Stud and Gardens. Der Bahnhof ist mit Gepäck zu weit weg, da braucht man ein Taxi. Es ist wirklich preiswert, wer sich also weder an Lärm noch an altmodischer Einrichtung und sehr vielen Teppichen stört, ist hier richtig.

Outstandingly helpful and friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble. Room comfortable and clean in a recently added wing with excellent en suite facility. # Blade of beef on the menu was absolutely divine, had it 4 nights! Wish I had requested the recipe...!! Hotel comfortable, areas for small groups to gather and chat or larger areas for bigger groups. Worth a mention special mention is Kelly, she went over and above to ensure our car club stay went so well.... the whole experience was a credit to them. Failte Ireland should take note.

The hotel hosted our club for a 5 day car tour of the Gordon Bennett Route and local area. There were 20 cars and 40 people. Kelly, Martin and the staff were simply brilliant, we experienced great service from the minute we got there, the food was excellent in terms of choice, quality and quantity. We had some members with detailed personal dietary requirements and these were all dealt with fully and very efficiently. This is a family run hotel and gave us the real flavour of Irish hospitality. As the tour organiser (for the first time) I have no hesitation in recommending the Kildare House Hotel to anyone, they made bringing a group on a tour so much easier. The location is in an ideal base for exploring the Ancient East and is less than an hour from Dublin but is out of range of the capital city's price hikes.

Old fashioned hotel but It was warm and comfortable, shower was weak pressure. Had pizzas in the bar they were very nice. The car park is a disaster only small amount of spaces and on the main road you literally nearly have to stand on the road to open the boot of the car..

My stay at this hotel was lovely, easy and pleasurable. When I arrived, I checked in with a very friendly man. The keys to the bedrooms were old-style (i.e., lock and key, versus electronic) which I found nice and quaint. The bedroom was immaculately clean, as was the bathroom - which also looked to be newly-refurbished! The mattress was extremely comfortable and I found that the bedsheets weren't the typical scratchy variety you get in the usual hotel, but were actually nice and soft - not exactly 'brushed cotton', but quite close. As a person that is very sensitive to scratchy bedsheets, I really appreciated this. The proximity of the hotel to Kildare Village and also to Dublin was great! The breakfast in the morning was so tasty; tea was served promptly on arrival and I ordered the French toast with maple syrup and bacon. Food was delicious. I didn't eat dinner in the hotel the previous night as I was in the neighbouring county Dublin until late. There was hot /cold water in the showers on demand and there were lovely shower gels/shampoos all laid out nicely. The bedrooms had tea/coffee making facilities with nice, big ceramic mugs at your disposal (unlike the typical small-and-white variety of mug often offered at hotels). The electric fire was on in the lobby until late and I was sorry I didn't get in from Dublin before 11pm as I would've loved to have tried a cocktail from Soul Burger!!! Bedclothes and towels smelled lovely and fresh. Room was quiet at nighttime but there was a bit of noise from traffic passing outside - also, blackout curtains mightn't go amiss! All in all, a great stay and brilliant family-run hotel - I will recommend it to friends/family and will be back.

Very good nice food very nice staff Very good altogether staff were excellent .will definitely be back again as it’s lovely food will be back again in few months time for a trip and will be bringing more people along fair play to the chefs and to the manager

Booked this family run hotel based on previous positive reviews. I can only reiterate that the service and quality of the hotel were first class. Staying for a week in late February we checked in early on a Monday afternoon. From the greeting at the desk to a drink in the bar later the staff were exceptional. Breakfast each day was freshly cooked and very tasty. The room was well furnished and fairly large with more than enough space to relax when reading (or waiting for your wife to get ready). Bringing friends for dinner only confirmed the quality of the food. Attentive and knowledgeable staff it was a pleasure to stay and look forward to returning. As an aside the area is well catered for in terms of shopping with a purpose built shopping village built a ten minutes walk from the hotel.

This was a fabulous hotel. It is in a great location. The staff were really nice and friendly, especially with the children. The food was amazing, both evening meal and breakfast. The wine and dine offer was great value with a good choice of dishes. Bedroom lovely and cosy.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff. One of the most comfortable, softest. beds I have ever slept in !! I'd go back just to sleep in the bed ! Didn't worry me, but there is no lift. Cheerful man on reception offered to carry my bag up though ! Two restaurants on site.
