Hyatt House Atlanta Downtown

This Hotel is in a great Location. The front desk staff are meh. Not very friendly. The Breakfast is pitiful, sausage sitting in a pan full of grease, I know sausage is greasy, but I’ve never seen it served sitting in a pan full of greased. So not appetizing at all. The first day the French toast sticks were stuck together and half cooked. Fruit bowl never refilled. Charging $15 for that is insane!! I will say the Breakfast attendants are sweet and helpful. The parking is ridiculous, I have to pay $45 per day for an attendant to go park my car 50 feet away. That’s just taking advantage of people. I should be able to park my own car instead of being rushed out of my car trying to grab all my things, shopping bags, etc. Hallways are very loud throughout the night. Ghetto guests allowed to say the worst cuss words and talk any way they want to loudly in front of other guests and Children. I finally had to say something to this one girl. This is a family friendly Hotel as the Aquarium, Coke Museum, Centennial Park are all located within walking distance. Hotel staff shouldn’t let crap like this happen or continue. Good luck if you need towels, an extra blanket, or whatever, Housekeeping doesnt clean or replenish anything and that was on my third day. You have to call and ask for it, but the phone doesn’t work in the room and I had to use my cellphone to call the front desk. I had to go get it myself and the guy couldn’t get into the linen closet cause someone locked the door and they didn’t have a key. He had to go to an open room and get it from there, SMH. I paid over $200 a night to stay here and I’m very disappointed. Won’t be back. Will go stay at the overpriced, outdated, Westin instead and pay for an Uber to drive me and my family to where we got to go.

Most of the staff was really nice. The place smelled clean but as with most mid budget hotels nowadays, you can tell that they dont really care about making a nice experience. Broken fixtures, shower didnt drain, $45 valet parking that was barely secure. I went to get something from my car and there was no attendent in site. I went to get a soda, no one at the front desk. We ordered a pizza and burger from the bar and the bartender was too busy flirting and talking that the cook had to bring out our food about 45 minutes later and it was absolutely horrible. I only stay here because it said it had free self-parking (not true) and it said it was closest to the aquarium but there were nicer hotels much closer. We left early and cut our trip short; there was no point in staying in a place much more inconvenient than just going home. I understand that times are hard but if you are going to charge top prices for everything at least attempt to make the services top notch as well.

We went to check in and out room was not ready. Check in was at 3pm and we did not get into our room until after 6:30pm. Not an amazing start after a 6 hour drive and a special needs child that needed to decompress. Room had furniture damage and was not entirely clean. Front desk staffer never apologized for the delay.

Great location for Georgia Aquarium and amazing breakfast. We loved our stay and the full kitchen in our suite. Only suggestion is maybe eliminate single use plastic for the breakfast meal.

The location of this property is what brought us here. We were able to easily walk to the Georgia Aquarium, World of Coke, Olympic Park, Ferris Wheel and lots of good restaurants. You cannot enter the lobby without a keycard, so it felt safer in that regard. Also, the valet service was great and constantly monitored. Our only con was the breakfast. If we didn't get down there early there was barely anything left and they did not refill anything - once it was gone it was gone. My child accidentally spilled some juice and the breakfast employee was very upset about it. That whole area just seemed chaotic during breakfast time - especially with people trying to get stuff before it ran out.

Hyatt House was conveniently located to GA aquarium and Zoo Atlanta. Breakfast was great! Service was very good, rooms were very nice and the overall stay was a positive experience.

Arrived at the property around 415 and was informed that my room was not yet ready. Mind you check in is at 3pm . Was not happy about having to valet park my vehicle.

Besides the parking price per night, everything was great. Location is perfect for Aquarium, museum, coca cola goers- 3 min walk or less.
