The location is nice and quiet! Hotel has a few better than average amenities- like the fitness room which is more than just a treadmill and elliptical. The room was very comfortable and the bed was heavenly. I love that this property has the full Dove shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in the shower. Thank you! The staff was super friendly We’ll be back!

Sadly the rooms are in need of repairs. I had to change rooms due to broken bathroom tile and TV. The second room wasnt any better. But the customer service I received was amazing. The front desk clerk was friendly and did her best to resolve my issues.

I have stayed at a lot of hotels, we just stayed at double tree, Fairfield inn and a lot of higher-end hotels. I would choose candlewood suites any day over those high-end hotels. The Assistant Manager Christina Bishop was absolutely amazing and so helpful. We were there for a family member in the hospital in very poor health. Instead of the usual hotel stays where the staff endlessly bangs on your door asking when your checking out( even before it's checkout time), this experience was totally different. They were so kind and understanding of our situation and the need to have to keep extending our stay( due to the ups and downs of our family members health). I have to say this has been one of my best hotel experiences I have ever had and I have stayed in a lot of hotels due to my work. The main factor was the kindness, understanding and the feel of staying with family while we were there. Christina and our staff were absolutly amazing and I van not mention one negative aspect of our stay. Thank you so much to the entire staff.

Hotels need to simply invest in taking out all carpet and keep hard floors. Its a cleaner look and doesnt hide smells. You can only clean carpet so many times. The carpet here smelled like there was a leak somewhere in the room. Rid the carpet... it will cost less over time.

People constantly opening doors and going in and out of rooms on my floor every 3-5 minutes all night long. Every time the doors would open and shut it would shake my door in its frame and echo throughout my room. I finally looked out my peephole to see what was going on and there was a man who looked drugged out, pacing up and down the hallway for a long time. If you are looking for a quiet hotel, look elsewhere.

I didn't know how high the rate for a dog for one night would be. Outrageous. The place is very nice, but would notstay again. Having a dog almost was the same as the room rate

Reservation was for 2 twin beds. Room ended up having a queen and a pullout couch….disappointing. They said there is an issue with Expedia’s reservation system.

Had a lot of trouble checking in. Hotel said i didn’t pay prior to check in which I showed them on my ******* account that I did. Had to pay again for the room. Then was given a 1 bed room when I booked a room with 2 beds. The property was convenient for where we needed to go. But it is not the greatest. Does the job if you just need a place to sleep.

I was racially profiled by the GM named, Betty Carter. She approached me, not to mention touched me, accusing me to be another resident who assumingly caused damages (she never explained why). She asked if I came here with a company "Iron Man" or whatever and I continued saying no! She never believed anything I said when I confirmed that I reside in FL and she kept talking about my hair because it looks like the other guest. I kept asking what's the problem but she never answered. She made me come to the front desk and continued to accuse me of being someone else but never explained the reason. While present, Joe Wright, Sales Manager, made a negative comment in front of my face in regard to whatever they were attempting to accuse me of. He apparently was on her side as well. Again, I kept asking what the problem was but she never confirmed, so I left. Following that event, my partner attempted to go downstairs to speak with her and got stuck in the elevator for over an hour and Betty Carter took 30-plus minutes to call who she needed to. At this point, my sister was present to see what was going on. On top of that, she (Betty) came back talking rudely to us stating that she called them and she doesn't know what else we want her to do as if she was doing us a favor. Her demeanor felt as if she did not want to do it in the first place. I kept asking her what the third degree was and inquired about the elevator key because we were only trying to get my partner out safely even though they did not have the elevator key present (which took 20 minutes to find even after the firemen went to another hotel to borrow one.) To make matters worse Joe Wright continued to be very rude. He also kept bringing up the fact that I look like the other guest stating, "Well they say everyone has a twin." I told him that whatever they are trying to say, I need to be informed because I was uncomfortable at that point. We were treated as if we had done something wrong. The constant deep sighs and eye rolling continued to occur. After my partner was finally released, we asked to be moved to the first floor but while we were waiting, we were ignored by both parties. The apology was nowhere near sincere and not to mention, we were informed by other guests in the lobby that ANOTHER guest got stuck in the elevator the day before, but we were under the impression that it was fixed (it obviously was not). After asking to be switched to another room on the first floor, both Betty Carter and Joe Wright made it seem as if WE were the problem and we did not initially ask for a refund. Both Betty and Joe continued responding with sly remarks and we then asked for a refund because we were confused about why we were getting the 3rd degree when we did nothing wrong. Their attitudes were TERRIBLE and after asking for the refund, Betty STILL kept mentioning my hair and I explained to her that whatever she is implying has nothing to do with the matter at hand. I will never stay at this hotel again! I am glad that I trusted my gut and recorded every interaction I had with the front desk agent that night. That recording proved that he lied about EVERYTHING! It was such a horrible experience and I do not want to relive it in order to go into detail for this review. I received a formal apology from the hotel and a full refund. Thank God for that video! I am so glad I trusted my gut feeling!!!
