奧羅拉酒店(Aurora Hotel)

Staff were welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Only thing we didnt like was no maid service during our 2 night stay, by the end we were out of towels and kleenex and the trash was overflowing. Maybe we could have called for cleaning/restocking but we were there for a wedding and were on a tight schedule

The pictures of the room soze are deceiving and the bathrooms are dinky and out of date. The location of the hotel is quite a Hike uphill so you better be in shape or get a taxi. Overall, our stay was good. Beds were super comfortable, the staff was exceptional, and the upper deck was nice.

This hotel is located in a great place in Avalon- it’s easy to walk around. The rooftop is beautiful. The bed is comfortable and rooms are clean, but rooms are small and the walls are paper thin. You can hear everything on the other side of the wall. If you’re a light sleeper don’t stay here

From check-in, Parker was wonderful & helpful. There were people checking in ahead of us & behind us, & he kept his composure. Aurora allows your bags to be checked in ahead of time, until room is ready and holds bags after check-out. This is a must for Catalina travelers b/c you do not want to haul all your luggage w/ you until check-in. We were allowed to check in early. Our room was immaculate and well stocked. The breakfast was fully stocked w/ many choices. Beautiful roof-deck overlooking the ocean. All other staff were friendly, knowledgable & helpful (hiking, food). The only thing to mention to others, is the hotel is on a steep hill, on the last street from the boat dock. However, everything is easily accessible by walking. The price is a good value. We will come here again & recommend to others. Next time, we want the ocean view! Thanks to a wonderful team @ Aurora!

Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Fantastic rooftop. Close to everything. Keep in mind there is a short, steep hill to get to the property, but we all managed fine. Loved the refreshing drinking water available at all times.

Central top town...good daily continental bfast and coffee. Staff will watch your bags before/after you check in/out.

Room was small, but efficiently designed to use the space. It reminded me of a cruise ship cabin (approprite for an island experience) with a slightly more spacious bathroom. Had a minor plumbing problem and staff responded quickly to fix it cheerfully and competently. Temperature control system worked well. Clean and well maintained. Rooftop lounge with good seating and a lovely view. Breakfast more than "continental" with varied protein options. Quiet. We stayed three nights and I definitely recommend this hotel.

The staff at the Aurora were awesome! Especially Parker and Melissa!!! They took care of all of our needs and provided valuable information regarding the ferry back to the mainland. I’m looking forward to staying there again.

It was wonderful!!! Excellent customer service. Clean, quiet, close to the beach, with an amazing ocean view from the rooftop. I would definitely love stay here again.
