Was a really nice experience

Hôtel que nous avons choisi pour y passer une nuit pour notre retour vers la maison et en même temps profitez de la rue des champagne Petit déjeuné excellent avec beaucoup de choix Chambre très propre et spacieuse. Personnel sympathique. Info reçue sur place, les animaux sont également admis

The basic rooms are very compact and I cannot imagine sharing with anyone. The closet was inaccessible given how the doors opened and the fact that the safe was too big for the space. Housekeeping was sloppy and I am not convinced my towels were clean. The 2 bottles of water in the room were never restocked. The fridge barely chilled anything. The bathroom had 1 bottle of all-purpose product (hair & body wash). The shower didn’t drain well and the shower head was partially clogged. The hair dryer was attached to the wall and challenging to use if you are not left handed. There were some good bits: staff was really nice, AC was strong, wifi decent.

Laut Website rechneten wir mit zwei modernen und sauberen Zimmern . Das Hotel ist allerdings in vielen Bereichen ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen und nicht alle Zimmer sind renoviert: ein abgenutzter, fleckiger Teppich, Möbel aus den 70ern und eine tropfende Decke im Bad ist nicht das, was man erwarten konnte ! Unser Zimmer war besser , aber man darf nicht so genau hinsehen … da ist, auch bezüglich der Sauberkeit, noch viel Luft nach oben ! Die Zimmer sind sehr klein, es gibt keinen Kleiderschrank und leider ist das Hotel sehr hellhörig . Das Frühstück war ok , der Service war bemüht . Bei 13€ fürs Frühstück p.P. kann man nicht meckern . Die Lage ist gut -man ist direkt im Zentrum der Stadt und kann alles zu Fuß erreichen .

Well located hotel in Epernay. Rooms comfortable, although a little small. Some areas are in need of refurbishment - the shower attachment in our room was broken - but there seems to be work in progress. There is plenty of on street parking just outside which is free on Sundays. Reasonable value for money.

Some of the reviews put me off staying here so I was tempted to book the Ibis again, however I changed my mind and booked. The room was far better than the Ibis, much more space, clean, serviced well, couldn’t fault it really, and close to our favourite bar. A few strange reception staff, one very young girl who looked us up & down & stared all the time and then the older reception guy of an evening who did his job (which I couldn’t really fault but he wasn’t interested in us). I’d stay again, great position and quiet.

The propert was very pleasant but the best part was Jules at the front desk! He was kind, attentive and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable! Thank you Jules!

Pros: Rooms and lobby were very clean and updated. Walkable to Avenue de Champagne. Nice bar in the lobby. Small continental breakfast was delicious. Nice stay. Cons: concierge was not very friendly. Difficult to find parking. ParkingOn street only.

Property is on the edge of the old town and about 5 minutes walk to the Avenue de Champagne. The room was spacious but the decor a bit tired with the bathroom needing some attention. The location was the primary benefit of staying here. Non-secure, spotty WiFi was an issue.
