The price paid for the accommodation was excessive for the offering, with published breakfast times not being managed, although we do realise that things are still not straight forward at the moment.

No water from sink tap couldn’t wash hands after toilet use. Shower water sp****. Other residents told us the same story. Small room and the floor sloped to window so much that we were sliding in bed and walking up hill. It is an old building but seemed it was just our room. The food excellent. Service good and very clean. But room experience especially water prob spoilt other attributes of hotel.

Check in was a bit strange just flung me a key and let me crack on, they seemed rushed off their feet. Didn’t spend much time there thankfully as it’s really run down but my room had no warm water, the shower didn’t turn on. Check out was 10 even though book confirmation said 10:30. Had someone banging on my door at 9:45 telling me to get out when I was still sleeping and they were incredibly rude. Informed the staff of the above and their response was ‘sounds like you had a bad morning’ and didn’t attempt to resolve any of the issues I had experienced. I’d avoid visiting this place.

Was given the smallest room in the hotel even though I booked for two people and there was single occupants in larger rooms. Room overlooked the beer garden so had to keep the curtains closed all the time for privacy. Breakfast starts to late at 8am for most people staying on business. Food is expensive and the portions were large and over facing. No hot water on the mould checkout. Was not offered a WiFi code even though my booking said free WiFi. Feel let down by the whole stay.

Great place to stay, rooms are comfortable if a little dated but good nether the less. Staff are friendly and warm, great menu and the portion sizes are epic! Food coma bother nights I stayed

This was a last minute booking which made our weekend. The room was lovely, the restaurant food and service was exceptional. Highly recommend this place and will definitely be going back again.

Lovely old building , really pleasant staff , clean & comfortable room . Super tasty food with huge ' Norfolk 'portions ! Certainly want togo again .

Food was excellent, both breakfast and dinner - staff fabulous - a credit to the hotel. Our room bathroom needs updating with new toilet seat and just an upgrade in general. Bed was quite small - not sure it was a queen bed but comfortable enough. Just needs a few things upgraded to make it fabulous as both food and staff were lovely so felt the room let the overall score down.
