蒂羅爾伊姆普爾斯酒店(Impuls Hotel Tirol)

The hotel has to be one of the cleanest I have ever stayed in. Lots of glass all spotless. Apart from the Austrian style twin rooms. ie two separate mattresses in a frame to keep them together and a lack of a shower door the stay was wonderful. Despite that our group was kept out of the restaurant and given a makeshift table in a side room, not too mention that it has to be one of the hottest hotels I have been in. But once we found the key to the fire escape and propped the door open it cooled nicely. The pool was wonderful along with the welcome spa. Ideally situated close to the town centre and with a very near bus stop for ski slope lift access.

We had a fabulous stay here with friends in 2020 so were pleased when it was available (Crystal ski) when I was looking for somewhere special to take my husband for his 60th birthday. We had another wonderful visit- the room was modern and smart (although we made a mess of the walk in shower- water everywhere), food was excellent- plenty of choice for non meat eaters (I’m not veggie but I’m really fussy with the meat I do eat), Our hostess Daniela was wonderful as was the bar manager Eddie - so well looked after by all the team. They even made a special effort for my husband’s birthday- much appreciated. The wellness centre is great and there are plenty of non-skier activities which the hotel notes for you in the daily “morgenpost” leaflet you get at breakfast. Loved the afternoon soup and cake treats. Hope to visit in the summer sometime. Really good ski buses and great ski area. Personally prefer Dorfgastein- less crowded and holds the snow better.

Just back from a weeks stay at Impuls Tirol hotel - I don't often write reviews only my 3rd one and only do so if the stay and experience has been exceptional (the other ones are Shangri La Bangkok and Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm). The hotel facilities are one of understated quality. The hydro pool leading to the outdoor pool is superb and the spa area is great and very modern with a Sauna and steam room that actually stays really hot to get the best health benefits. The hotel will grow on you each day as you appreciate different quality aspects of decor or styling that you may of missed upon your first arrival. From the clean spacious warm rooms with the perfectly aligned pillow choices and light duvet that complements the room so well to the nicely arranged bar seating that allows for great social interaction within your group no matter what the size of the party. What really elevates the Impuls hotel to a 5 Star experience/hotel is the Food and the level of service. The various restaurant seating areas are just perfect and provide a great table location for all guests. The food quality is consistently superb and varied each night. the overall meal experience was superbly well balanced between a Hearty feed ( that is needed after 7 hours on the slopes ) and a fine dining presentation that again reinforces the pride the whole Impuls team take in making you stay superb. All of this can be accompanied with a quality glass of wine for just 5 euros which is super good value. But what really set this hotel apart from many other 4/5 star hotels is the service. The whole Impuls team are fully committed to delivering a first class experience. Special thanks to Sebastian who on the first evening helped by 2 teenage boys download the bergfex app to get realtime updates on mountain weather/ski conditions and was superb every single day. It was great to see the owners also helping out with the rest of the team and Bibiana offering my 2 teenage sons an extra main course to make sure they were full was a very nice touch. The Hotel and the whole Impuls team have a sole priority to ensure their guests experiences are the very best they can be and they certainly achieve this. If they make a small profit from your stay then this comes across as a small bonus to them. The experience for whole family of 4 was amazing - Huge thanks

We travelled to Bad Hofgastein with a large group of friends to ski and soak up the atmosphere. The hotel was perfect. Easy access to skibus service to explore this beautiful region. The food, the staff, the rooms were exceptional. The spa facilities allowed for rest time off the mountain. Could not have asked for more. Thankyou Hotel Tirol😊

The hotel was excellent, food delicious, staff very friendly and fully engaged. Beds very comfortable. Rooms very clean and modern . Great and easy access to ski bus. Spa was lovely. Travelled with a group, all of whom were very impressed..

Spent the week over Christmas here with my husband & 16 year old son. Hotel is beautiful, clean, well looked after & perfectly positioned for a nice 8 minute walk to the town centre & 15 min walk to main Bad Hof Gastein gondola up to the slopes (& all buses to other Gastein ski areas) Breakfast is a plentiful from fresh fruit salad, hams& cheeses, breads & pastries, yoghurts & freshly made omelettes. Coffee is bought to you plus there’s a great selection of teas including English tea if you fancy a pot in the morning. Afternoon tea served until 5pm for when you come off the slopes cakes, breads & drinks. Evening meal is salad buffet, soups main course & dessert (all differ each evening). 2 pool areas - 1 in spa section then one further along which goes outside. Stunning to swim outdoors with the steam coming off the water, underwater lighting looking over to the snow covered slopes. Bar/lounge area fantastic with a wide range of drinks reasonably priced. Didn’t use the boot room room advice is to pay 6 euros per night (3 if hired from inter sport) to store them at the inter sport depot. That way you don’t have to lug your skis up & down or walk in ski boots. Altho the ski bus is directly opposite the hotel and runs fairly frequently. Get the 08:12 bus you arrive 08:25 then on the first gondala at 08:30 to get the best of the corduroy piste. The hotel gym has great equipment o had a look but didn’t use it. Sauna you need to be nude (no swimwear) so for that reason I didn’t use it. Rooms are clean & spacious and you get spa towels aswell. Christmas Eve was the best where you had compliments drinks & songs around the Christmas tree. Our waitress, NIA, from Slovenia was an absolute diamond. Just perfect. Edi the sommelier/bar man was just perfect and looked after us well. Also, sommelier Sebastian was also a pro at his job. Hats off to all the staff it’s a well run hotel which can’t wait to revisit.

An outstanding hotel in beautiful Baghofgastein. Fantastic staff, fantastic food great leisure facilities, great boot and ski room and right next to a bus stop to the cable car.The snow on the lower slopes was poor but Bad Hofgastein is a fantastic place for family who don't wish to ski. The leisure facilities keep none skiers relaxed.

We have just returned from a week staying at Impuls Tyrol hotel which we booked through Crystal. We loved this place! Our room was warm, spacious and bright, the beds were comfortable and the shower was decent. Breakfast was a fabulous buffet affair with hot and cold options and lots of choice. After skiing, soup and cake was available and dinner was 6 courses if you could manage it. All very tasty. Our waiter Sebastian was lovely and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The thermal outdoor pool was wonderful after a day’s skiing, there is also an indoor pool and sauna which we didn’t use. Bus stop is just across the road and hotel is short walk to town centre. Skiing area is steeper than what we are used to in France but we really enjoyed it. Definitely recommend getting bus to Dorfgastein ski area which has lots of wide tree lined pistes and plenty of places to stop for coffee and lunch.

This is a great hotel just a short bus ride of a few minutes from the main gondola, the breakfast were excellent and service from Claudia was second to none as was the older barman with glasses ( forgot his name) the evening meals we were served by Timi one of the most hard working waitresses we have ever encountered on our many visits to Austria, also the food was of a very good quality. The room was large and comfortable but the bathroom layout was a bit weird with glass walls and no shower screen so after a shower the floor can get really wet and slippery, one downside is if you need to get up in the night to use bathroom bring a torch as when you switch the light on it spills into the bedroom and wake will partner sleeping, I didn’t use spa as members of our party said there was to much nudity though several used spa treatments which were very good. The village is very quiet and if am being honest the area is the least friendliest resort in Austria I have been. The hotel itself is very good.
