吉賽爾旅館(Auberge Gisele's Inn)

Harleys rumbling outside while middle-age bikers discuss potato salad recipes, smoking are right below window, parking limited and inconvenient; no service in dining room, so we left and went into town for dinner; and the lobby coffee is better at Motel 6. Oh, but the room was clean, so we tipped the cleaning person. Won't be back.

Nous avons séjourné 2 nuits pour faire la Cabot Trail. Chambre rustique mais très propre, excellent rapport qualité-prix et on peut se rendre dans le “downtown” à pied (5-10 minutes). Je recommande certainement !

The reception employee was amazing. She made me feel welcome and helped me with dinner reservations. She was the best and made my experience great.

Overall hotel was good. I had a (very) noisy heating system in my room that woke me up few times.

The room was nice with good bed and super clean. The breakfast buffet was very disappointing! Cold toast made ahead and fake scramble d eggs all lukewarm. Greasy bacon.All for 40 dollars for two with tip to the girls who were very nice.Tim Hortons would have been better !! and turned us away from eating there for the night meals . Do not go with buffet special!!

This hotel was on the older side and probably needs an overhaul. That being said, it was clean and the staff was good.There was a dripping noise in the ceiling coming from the room above that I told them about and they looked into it and said there was nothing they could do about it. They didn't offer to change our room or do any more follow through with my concern. Since we weren't in our room much, we just dealt with it. Great location in Baddeck and it was walkable into the town center.

The floor above was sqeeking every time someone walked across. Otherwise a nice place to stay.
