達科塔酒店(The Dakota Baginton)

Credit to Trip.com sorting this out for me, I'm happy with their service but use this hotel at your peril. The hotel is unattended. You are supposed to receive an email or SMS, or something, with an entry code and your room number. I didn't receive this (and yes I checked, double and triple checked - spam folders, and so on). After all there wasn't much else to do sitting in the hotel lobby trying to find out how to get my room. They leave a mobile number to call - I called, it went to voice mail. I called again, nothing. After a while I had to book another hotel nearby. It looks okay from the outside, location is next to the airport, convenient for the NEC, quiet location I think. Trip.com refunded the costs after trying to contact the hotel. I So, use this hotel with care. If for any reason you don't get a message you'll not be able to get in, and from my experience no way to speak to anyone to get help.

Location is okay but there is no shop across the road anymore as this is permanently closed. Walls are very thin can hear the person next door snoring all night. A lot of workers staying here at present. It was clean, free parking great Chinese next door. Not really somewhere to stay if you are holidaying. Okay for 1 person but too small for 2. Was clean and modern with tea/coffee and room was cleaned daily if you wanted it done. No do not disturb sign. Staff are friendly.

Can't find any fault absolutely fantastic place very clean and a big thumbs up to available parking and a welcome gift of water and biscuits lovely touch .Would definitely recommend.

Lovely room with good value for money. Great facilities, with easy check in/check out. Also ran into staff as we arrived early, very welcoming and friendly. Would recommend!

The keys were accessed using a keysafe and you were emailed the combination. When we got there our keysafe had been left on the actual combination and so anyone could have taken our keys. The room had a white vertical blind which did not block out the bright security light which was on all night. The tv was so tiny and 6ft up the wall so nearly impossible to watch. Also it had no BBC channels! There was very little sound proofing so we were treated to several hours of extractor fan noises as our neighbour had clearly left the light on in their bathroom. On the positive side the room was very clean and warm and had free biscuits. Parking was fine although someone did tamper with my windscreen wipers in the carpark. Easy check in and fine for a one night stay.

Clean, close to office Parking in back challenging when cars in front left side blocking entryway - if left clear would be very helpful

Easy self-check in, clean simple room, great for a short stay in the area.

Can't fault the hotel itself - but we had no idea until we arrived at the hotel that book in was to be electronically which caused us a problem - no reception. So be warned that you will need access to email at the time when your room becomes available to get the access codes - which we didn't have.

The room was very clean, will book again when in Coventry
