天堂灣酒店(Paradise Cove)

We stay here every year and even though we own a condo on the beach in Freeport there is solitude and peace here. We rent a villa for the night and enjoy absolute silence and peace and tranquility. Barry and his family go above and beyond to make everyone feel at home. They always check on us and food is always great. The reef is wonderful and we recommend this place to everyone we meet on the island. Don't miss this experience!!

We chose to spend our one day on Grand Bahama Island at Paradise Cove and we definitely made the right choice. It wasn't offered through the cruise ship so we booked direct through the website. We were already glad we did as we watched at the other cruise passengers herded into large 2 decker buses by the hundreds. Transportation from the port was included in the price and we enjoyed the ride. The driver was great and gave us a little tour and information on the way. This is a hidden gem! Very laid back low key private beach hangout. We snorkeled the reef and our instructor was great. You can tell she loves her job and the ocean. Snorkeling was amazing. We seen conch, fish, stingrays, corals and sea turtles. The sea turtles were amazing! After snorkeling we enjoyed some local cocktails and Bahamian beers! They also have a restaurant on site so make sure you enjoy some local conch dishes! We tried both the cracked and grilled conch. Both were delicious! We definitely enjoyed our day here and would recommend anyone ona cruise to book the day here! Great place. Amazing people!

Staff is extremely disorganized. The food takes a long time after you order. You have to stand in line to get checked in, get your tickets for equipment, back in line to return, back in line to give them a ticket you returned the equipment. It’s a CIRCUS! The “reef” is a joke! I had a great laugh. The two turtles I swam with made my day. The water is dirty and smells odd. I was told they could take us back at 6 when they closed, but you guessed it nope! That was a “sales pitch”. It’s a tourist trap in all regards. Paid almost $200! I couldn’t get picked up until 12 PM and I had to leave by 4:30 PM. Don’t waste your time and hard earned money. Free beaches all over you can go to and I know they’re much nicer. Will NOT return ever!!
