馬歇爾套房酒店(Marshall Suites)

I reserved a suite with Queen and double sofa bed, but they gave me a regular sofa not a bed. it is very tight for 3 of us to sleep there, my son is a big boy and he had important swimming meet and need to have his own bed. it is very disappointed. the hotel went out of power and do not have his own electrical generator. garage door can not open. so we can not even go out for food for 2 hours, very very bad experience.

When we got to our room there was a used towel and bathrobe hanging behind the bathroom door. One of the handles on a dresser drawer was off. We had ants in the living area and our room was not cleaned and trash not emptied for the 3 days we stayed. There was no coffee maker in the room. Staff was nice but very few available. Breakfast options were very limited and milk had expired. Fruit was well past its best date. Subpar experience for us.

Difficult to review this property. As noted, location and room were very nice. Check in staff were very nice. Unfortunately, the hotel still uses key cards with *****e for garage (only access to hotel after 10pm) and for room. We visited family who live on the island and returned via our car at 11:30pm. The key card did not work and we could not get into the garage to enter hotel. We went to front door where key card did not work and where we saw a phone number posted for late arrival/staff to meet or for emergency. We called this number 3 times and only got answering machine. We had to check in to another hotel! Quality Inn had wonderful night desk staff and a room so we checked in at 12:30 am- they gave us toiletries as we had nothing. Next morning, we saw that we had received a text at 2:30am stating, "See that you called. How can we serve you." Unbelievable! My phone was almost out of charge in am. This was a bad situation that could have been a real problem. In am, we went back to the Marshall Suites and spoke with the manager who apologized. No mention of how they could be of help now or... We asked for a refund which they gave us and moved to the other hotel. For us, it was a major inconvenience. I can only imagine if someone had medications in their room, health issues, or other important issues - could have been awful. How can a hotel still use old key card tech and not have a night manager on premise or at least one who answers call promptly?

Property is easy to find and in a good area. Starbucks across the street as well as Safeway and a few other stores. The associate at check in was informative but did not seem happy to be there. My room was NOT clean. The couch had brown food or something wiped on it and in the bathroom was a dirty towel hanging on the back of the door. The shower had black hairs in it and the non-slip mat also had black hair on it. The floors looked like they had not been vacuumed and the bed also had hair on it. I called the front desk and asked if it had been cleaned and he said he assumed it had. I told him of these issues and he offered to bring me a new mat. Never an offer for a new room or anything. I will not be staying here again. Luckily i brought my own blanket so i could sleep on top of the covers.

Great location, very comfortable and spacious room, friendly staff. Only thing I would change is more breakfast options - there's a wafflemaker, cold eggs, and some cereal/oatmeal, and that's about it. Some warm breakfast sandwiches or meats would've been great to have as an option.

The staff was friendly, even the non-front facing staff, such as housekeeping and janitorial staff. The continental breakfast and coffee were a bit disappointing, but not terrible. But overall I enjoyed my stay.

First, I have to say: the staff was so great. In the time we were there, there were 4 front desk attendants and every interaction with them was positive. I wish I could give the hotel 5 stars for that alone. Additionally, the breakfast, free snacks, and free parking are all perks that I really appreciated. The most challenging thing for me, however, was sleeping. The walls were a bit thin and someone nearby was playing music loudly and talking above the music (this was between 10 pm and midnight— when I finally took a Benadryl.) I was also a bit disappointed with the fitness room. It’s the same space as the pantry where they store the dry goods and plates, etc., for breakfast. It also adjoins the lobby. ‘Just not really a comfortable space for a workout. I have to reiterate: staff was/is excellent.

My only issue was the bed. Not very comfortable, too soft, kinda sunk to the middle. Otherwise, clean property, nice staff. Breakfast was ok, not a lot of variety but then I am not a big fan of most complimentary hotel breakfasts in the USA.
