曼吉馬普門户酒店(Manjimup Gateway Hotel)

POSITIVES: - Three bedroom villa was very spacious (3 bedrooms, lounge, dining, kitchen, laundry & bathroom) - Kitchen was well equipped (kitchenware, fridge, kettle, stove, toaster) - Free toiletries were provided - Washing machine + dryer + iron - It was reasonably well heated (reverse cycle AC in the living area and in one bedroom) - - 2 other bedrooms had no heating - Free WiFi (4 GB limit per day) - TV + CD player NEGATIVES: - Location: although advertised as a villa, it was attached to the pub/restaurant, next to a major highway leading into town - Photos on the website were misleading: villa had worn out decor, paint was peeling off the walls, there were scratches everywhere - Windows were painted over to hide the outside view of storage areas (it felt claustrophobic)

The property was fit for purpose. Quite old but an attempt has been made in recent years to tittivate the rooms up somewhat.

Checking in and checking out was easy. The room was clean and tidy. Great place to stay when driving down south

You can’t get better than the service and warm hospitality of the gateway hotel! We spent a lovely 3 night at this fabulous hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the food delish especially the amazing pizza’s. The staff lovely and accommodating for our large group. Will definitely stay here again when in the area! Well done team, thanks for making our stay so fantastic!

I stayed in the block to the lhs as you enter the motel.The rooms have luv parking as-well as truck parking to the rear . The rooms have quiet aircon , medium tv , kettle, toaster, bar fridge. The shower pressure is low and the temperature fluctuates. Some noise can be heard from the trucks passing by on the road into manji.

Highly recommend this place. Clean and very comfortable

So overpriced - $200 for one night in basically a prefab building - what I call a donga. It was only $140 to stay in town in a hotel room ( my friends had booked one). Opened the door and it stunk. I complained about the ridiculous price for the room, especially in Manjimup. The owner was accommodating and moved us into a 2 bedroom chalet - yes these are also pre-fad buildings but I didn't feel like I was in one. Very well laid out and had everything you need. Very clean and tidy, self contained.
