PROS: We stayed in the room with 4 single beds because we have 2 young kids. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were dark (if you like to sleep in) and they have Netflix. There are plenty of shops, cafes and a beach all within walking distance. If you have kids, there is a kids club at the Habitat Village Uluwatu, about 50m down the road and it's 150k per child per day. Our kids loved it there. The staff are happy to assist with pick-up and drop-off for a reasonable price and they have scooters from 80k/day. The pool is small but nice. CONS: The room was very dated and not very clean when we arrived. The room was very basic, no fridge, desk/shelving or even a towel hook. There is no daily room service. The toilet stunk of sewage and all the drains were blocked so the water in the bathroom sink and shower took about 10min to go down. The air-conditioner only just kept our room cold, mind you it wasn't that hot when we stayed either. The staff, although nice, didn't understand much English and didn't communicate to each other very well. The concrete pathways around the entire place are very slippery when wet so be careful. CONCLUSION: It's a great place if you are young, a couple, or with a group of mates and don't care about all the basics you'd get at most places. I think with time, they will improve the rooms.
