峇里島圖古酒店(Hotel Tugu Bali)

Superbe hôtel extrêmement bien placé près de la plage et des restaurants principaux. Les villas sont spacieuses, la nourriture y est excellente. Mention spéciale au manager qui nous a très bien accueillis. La déco typique est vraiment éblouissante. On recommande à 100% avec un bébé de 2 ans.

We had a fabulous private cooking class for 4 with Dayu and Chef at Hotel Tugu near the beach in Canggu. I chose this class as had the option to choose from Javanese and Balinese dishes and was particularly keen to learn how to cook Nasi Goreng. My 8 year old son joined us and really enjoyed the class, which was 2 hours long plus lunch afterwards. The outdoor kitchen you learn in is in a lovely setting. All of the dishes we cooked were full of flavour and the pastes were super colorful. The hotel cocktails were also a great accompaniment for the dishes at lunch. Perfect venue and class length if you are looking for a local authentic cooking class that doesn’t take all morning.

Ho scelto questo hotel come ultima tappa di un lungo viaggio a Bali. È stato un peccato perché non vedevamo l’ora di andarcene. Prima di tutto il contesto e squallidissima, questa zona di canggu è molto sgarrupata, la spiaggia è brutta, e con servizi in spiaggia di qualità scarsissima, ed è riduttivo, sulla spiaggia defluiscono in modo evidente tutti gli scarichi delle strutture a ridosso, e fa un po’ schifo passeggiare saltellando Rivoli che buttano acqua sporca. L’hotel non offre un servizio spiaggia anche se gli è di fronte. Ci ha salvato the Lawn, ristorante e spiaggia deliziosa che salva quel tratto di costa. Entrando nell’ hotel si ha una sensazione soffocante, è tutto cupo e i bellissimi Pezzi da collezione sembrano messi lì a caso. Entrando si ha l’impressione di sporco. L’hotel si sviluppa in più edifici apparentemente tradizionali ma a mio avviso anch’essi opprimenti. All’ingresso in stanza c’era un forte odore di muffa, luci basse che non creano atmosfera ma una sensazione opprimente. Sembra sporco. I bagni sono vecchi, è sotto l’aspetto tradizionale sono proprio vecchi, le maniglie della doccia piene di quello che sembrava calcare, il piano lavandino in legno scuro con l aspetto poco pulito. Gli asciugamani sono vecchi e sfilacciati Stanza triste che sembra la casa di una sciamana di magia nera. La piscina ha solo 6 lettini !!! Oltre a tre letti in legno apparentemente antichi che sembrano catafalchi per morti. I materassini sono di stoffa “antica” e fa un po’ impressione sedersi così in quanto sono anche con la stoffa un po’ usurata. Il Servizio in piscina e soffocante ogni 5 minuti ti chiedono se vuoi bere qualcosa Il ristorante con i tavoli nella hall non li abbiamo presi in considerazione, non so come fosse il cibo ma era una disposizione non accogliente Abbiamo cenato al ristorante giapponese dell hotel ed è sufficiente La colazione abbastanza buona Confermo come hanno scritto altri utenti che la discoteca accanto si fa sentire

We had a lovely room with a pool and the hotel is absolutely gorgeous. However, there were a few weird incidents. The first incident was when we arrived. We were greeted on arrival with lovely refreshing drinks and a blessing, which was amazing. Someone then helped us carry our bags to the room, which we hugely appreciated. Now, I do have to add that we don't come from somewhere where you tip for everything; you only tip when you have received exceptional service. For me, personally, assistance with luggage is standard at any 4 or 5 star hotel. The person who helped us with our luggage hung around our room until it became awkward. At the time I didn't understand why he just stood there but, looking back, I guess he was waiting for his tip. Had I have known this was the standard, I would have made sure I had cash on hand, if only to avoid an awkward situation. Our stay was pleasant, but I did notice stains on the bedding. The food was good but the breakfasts were a little bit small. I'm a skinny person who can't eat much in one sitting, but even for me, it was a bit small (see photo). I ordered an omelette one morning, and the menu mentioned add-ons. I asked for cheese, tomato and bacon. I was told I could only choose two (fair enough), so I chose bacon and tomato. I assumed it would be more than one slice of bacon and at least one tomato. I received a small omelette, one small slice of bacon, and 3 small slices of tomato. It wasn't the end of the world. It was still (just) enough food for me as someone who doesn't usually eat breakfast, and it was tasty. While the breakfast was good, it looked quite amusing on the I took a photo and posted it to a very niche, private Facebook group that I'm a member of. The group is mostly banter and sarcasm and is exclusively for people in my city, thousands of kilometres away from Bali. On checkout, I was confronted with screenshots of my post from this small, private Facebook group. Weird!! It was SO uncomfortable, and I find it absolutely bizarre that they would stalk a guest on social media to that extent. Thinking about it gives me the shivers. At the end of the day, we had an average stay, but the staff made us feel uncomfortable. Lovely hotel, but I won't be back.

Très belle expérience au dîner traditionnel du mardi soir ! La nourriture est excellente et le service parfait au petit soin pour leur client de la réservation au personnel sur place ! Un conseil : allez y sans hésiter :)

A typical balinese hotel full of indonesian artefacts. It is a quite old hotel with lots of wood and lush gardens. Spacious suites some with plunge pools. Well kept and perfect in terms of cleaning etc... superb breakfast. Very attentive and friendly staff, from the reception crew, over the waiters till the gardeners... great location nothing you could possibly comment on. Perfect

We had a very beautiful night, we arrived at Tugu Hotel when the night was raining, we enjoyed our foods while watching Balinese Dance, although it rained, I still loved the vibes. I tried their laksa and it was amazingly delicious. I loved it.

Cadre magnifique, accueil exceptionnel, nous avons pu savourer leur nouvelle carte ! c'était un régal pour les papilles ! On vous recommande les yeux fermés 🥰 La présentation des repas ainsi que les saveurs sont bien au rendez vous !!!!!!
