Logement insalubre mais l’établissement nous a contraint à payer. Voici notre avis détaillé ainsi que des photos : La grande villa (dénommée « Ben ») est à fuir : malheureusement laissée à l’abandon par le propriétaire américain, semble-t-il. Literie et canapé vieux, sales, et sentant le tabac. Les prises électriques ne fonctionnent pas, pour la plupart. Salle de bains : douche qui fuit, lavabo bouché, miroir abîmé, baignoire habitée par de la mousse. Petit-déjeuner de mauvaise qualité aussi, tout ça pour la maudite somme de 60 euros (1.100.000 roupies en octobre 2025) Merci tout de même au personnel présent, réactif, compréhensif, et impuissant : nous ne sommes apparemment pas les premiers à se plaindre de la villa « Ben », et aucune remise n’a été consentie sur cette première nuit chaotique, seul un changement d’établissement nous a été proposé pour la seconde nuit, dans une villa soit-disant plus chère, pour le même prix.

Ils ont apparemment refait certains chambres mais pas toutes...pas de chance, nous sommes tombé sur sur l'un des bungalows non refait (tuyau rouillé, planche des WC noircie,...)...pour ne rien arranger, la chambre était sale et n'avait apparemment pas été utilisée depuis un moment...les photos parlent d'elle-même...

The view is nice, the room is big. The staff is friendly. BUT Mosquitos all around the place, every single things are dusty, even the bed & mosquito net is dusty, there are trashes in EVERY.SINGLE.DRAWER bc they just like to dump any unused item or items that left behind from previous guests in there, only 1 electrical plug works on the entire building. The kitchen is so dirty, like an abandon place for over 5 years. We checked in and check out in the same day, total just about 5 hours there and decided to move out bc we can't help it.. the toilet upstairs is licking. We paid for 625k for such a terrible 5hours experience, we supposed to stay for 2 nights, but made the best decision to just spent 5 hours there..the worst accomodation we had

Great views, hot water, nice pool. Rooms are large, some have kitchens so you can self cater. Staff are fantastic. Food at the restaurant was one of the best things about Kubu Tani, the food is all cooked from scratch, the flavours are amazing and well priced. We loved the grilled chicken, the marinade on this is lovely, highly recommend. The potato croquettes are amazing, the fried chicken rice I had 3 times, I asked for less spice and it was cooked to my liking, husband loves spice and his was as he preferred. The home cooked fries are wonderful for an afternoon snack by the pool. Recommend staying for middle budget accommodation with loads of space and amazing views of Mt Agung, and eating in their reasonably priced restaurant, the food can take some time to cook as it is from scratch so plan to order accordingly, you won't be disappointed. If not staying I would still recommend coming in for dinner or lunch. The breakfast included in the rooms is great, the banana pancakes are a must, along with the pineapple juice. The rooms are open so nature is part of the experience, staff are happy to spray your room when asked, beds have mosquito nets. Linen very clean, towels changed regularly, pool towels available, daily cleaning done well.
