巴朗岸波因特海灘前沿酒店(The Point Beach-Front Balangan)

Not what we expected. Cancelled stay and left. Uep, beachfront.. but no foyer or parking. Had to enter through a beach club 2 doors down, then drag our luggage through a building site, - not impressed, deluxe room with photos of balcony and views was not what we got. Instead it was a standard small standard room. With no windows and you could barely squeeze past the bed, to get to the bathroom.. the guy at the front desk couldn't understand Australian, and could barely speak English. Very disappointing to say the least. We got ripped at Ubud, then nearly got ripped here. Be carefull to check what your getting before you book.

I really wanted to like this hotel... the surf was great (but too rough for swimming). Unfortunately I stayed in deluxe room 3, right above the kitchen and speakers… Which meant being woken up at 8am by the blender and a meat frying smell wafting through the floorboards. A lie in wasn't possible, and neither was a siesta. The music was just too loud and it became stressful asking them again and again to turn it down. Also the door lock jams and the window is behind the wardrobe (?!) so I couldn't properly close it to block out noise from corridor and shared balcony. Do not stay in deluxe room 3. Warning: this place popular with families with young children, who rule the hotel. A lot of shrieking and jumping in the pool at 7am. Difficult to get to, no road access. You have to walk via the beach and a building site next door. The hotel could warn and remind guests of this. Food is expensive, 2-3 times the price of nearby restaurants, but it's good; high standard coffee and western presentation, I liked it. Staff are nice, but... sometimes orders "forgotten" and taking an hour to arrive (even when restaurant empty...) If you're a young backpacker with time on your hands and a generous attitude you might enjoy this place. If you're over 25, on holiday, with some expectations of hotel standards, your patience might wear thin very quickly...

Bad hotel. Bed bugs in room, had to leave after one night even though paid for three. I was bitten so badly. Service staff friendly but management is the worst. Does not reply Agoda chat and does not reply emails. Refuses to communicate on infestation issue. I am seeking recourse but The hotel is not talking to me, but is telling Agoda that i was 'no-show' despite me paying up at the counter on check-in, I had to furnish billing proof that i was there and prove that i paid in full. After jumping through all of the hoops, still nothing from Hotel or Agoda. You cannot trust Agoda reviews or Agoda as a booking platform. I gave the same review on Agoda, but the hotel averages 8/10 stars on Agoda, nothing bad is ever on there, my review was not published by Agoda. There is a severe conflict of interest wherein Agoda as a booking platform would like for you to only see the positive and hit the book button. As an aside, Beach is super awesome, but if you’re coming in with luggage, you have to trek trough a broken path about 50m down a hill and then walk through sand on the beach to get to hotel. Reverse this trek when going out every time. The pathway in on google streetview looks okay, but is now severely deteriorated. - be warned.

Booked two week and left after 24 hours. No road access and had to drag luggage through two other establishments and two abandoned buildings, our door didn't lock, no security, no privacy, no bottled water provided, and restaurant patrons constantly coming upstairs thinking our room was public toilets.

Came here with the small baby at 7:10pm all staff was sitting in the guests’ zone smoking and chilling. No guests at all, all tables free. Asked if we can have a dinner and heard “we are fully booked”! Are you serious?! Hope the owner of this place will read this comment to see how his employees “work”.
