Nice little motor inn, rooms were clean and have a guide for guests about the area. Owner was very helpful

My son and I stayed at the Richmond Motor Inn during the flooding in Ballina. I can't say that it was comfortable, because we lost electricity and internet, but that was unavoidable and throughout the whole ordeal, the staff was amazing. They kept everyone updated as they received news and provided food as all shops were closed in town. The woman who cleaned the rooms was a machine and constantly checking in to see if people needed towels or biscuits...coffee, tea. Although we were there in the midst of a natural disaster and so much tragedy, I left the inn feeling positive about the state of the world because of the kind people I encountered at Richmond Motor Inn.

Great position, close to shops. Room was very clean and pleasant to stay in.

Nice clean and comfortable room, beds and pillow comfy, quite, and secure, close to shops, restaurants and club near by for good meals. Good walk down by the river.

Good little place to stay, opposite the RSL and close to shops. Try the Thai restaurant just down the street, beautiful food. Good location.

Tiny rooms, we arrived late with child, had to make up the bed for child once we arrived. Bed was weird and uncomfortable felt like we were sleeping up hill. Have stayed here once before and property gone downhill. Very expensive

Delighted to share our exceptional experience at this place! The check-in was a pleasure, thanks to the extremely helpful and friendly staff. The luxurious and neat unit exceeded our expectations, and we loved every aspect of our stay. Cleanliness was top-notch, adding an extra layer of satisfaction to our visit. Highly recommend!

This property was adequate for my needs. I arrived at 730pm or so and the office was not manned. I read the instructions and called the phone number. I was given instructions to get a key and easily found the room. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. I believe there was only one other guest staying there. The following morning I saw one staff person who was transporting linens to the property next door. Bottom line? If you want to stay somewhere that is clean and quiet… without staff on site, then you can book here. I’m on holiday and this did not add to my Australian experience. OTOH, I got a decent sleep and moved on.
