The Pros: Ground Zero to Banff town centre. Everything is just a moments walk away. Whilst paid parking is $30 a day in the adjacent parking garage, it’s secure and we could walk from car to same floor where our room was - so that was really convenient for check in/out and gave us peace of mind. The wifi was fast. Check in communication was excellent - we were told on the day when the room was available and the code by email and text. And the front desk staff, especially Ash were super helpful.
The Cons: I think it’s pricey for what we got. But hell, everything in Banff is pricey. There’s no closet space, just a few hangers on hooks, so our apt quickly felt cramped. There’s a very loud hum/ noise in this building, especially in hallway - I have no idea what it is - perhaps it’s from the aircons servicing the shopping centre below - but it was a very loud hum. We could open the bedroom window, but the hooting of the trains at night woke us up often, so it was a toss up of getting fresh air in or the room became super stuffy. Didn’t really have a good nights sleep during the whole stay as it was stuffy in the bedrooms. Also, the soap products in the bathroom provided no lather and I’d rather just use my own than cheap soap
