班夫基地營套房(Basecamp Suites Banff)

This place was amazing! This is our third time in Banff and this place offered the best views from the room than most of the hotels on Banff Ave. We had a one bedroom suite and the only critique is that there was no dressers in the room to unpack. The bedroom is on the smaller size but didn’t feel cramped. We ended up just unpacking into the kitchen cupboards and that worked perfectly for us. All the kitchen appliances were brand new, the couch was very comfy. Parking is the only thing, we ended up parking our whole time here (6 days) at the Cascade Shops parking garage, it’s $30 a day but we were on the 4th floor and there’s access from the hotel to the parking garage if your on the 3rd or 4th floor. We would go out during the day come back around 4pm and leave the next day around 8am and that was $30 Overall I highly recommend Basecamp Banff especially if you’re looking to save money by cooking meals in the room like we did. Hotel is right by the IGA and easy to get from and to the IGA, liquor store and Banff Ave

My sister and I absolutely loved staying at Basecamp Suites in Banff. Fiona and Aaron were so great and all the other staff as well. I was definitely impressed with their communication with us our whole stay. We stayed in the two bedroom and it was everything we needed and great views of the breathtaking mountains. We can’t wait to come back.

Great stay at Basecamp Banf. Service was very good, got early checkin. Rooms were great, clean, new, modern. Only improvement was need organizer for clothes except wall hooks. Location was great, 1 block from main downtown and next to grocery store so very convenient. Was nice to have a kitchen and living room for breakfast and extra space as rooms were very tight. Would stay again as convenient for 4 guests. Banf was great small town felt like Switzerland

The Pros: Ground Zero to Banff town centre. Everything is just a moments walk away. Whilst paid parking is $30 a day in the adjacent parking garage, it’s secure and we could walk from car to same floor where our room was - so that was really convenient for check in/out and gave us peace of mind. The wifi was fast. Check in communication was excellent - we were told on the day when the room was available and the code by email and text. And the front desk staff, especially Ash were super helpful. The Cons: I think it’s pricey for what we got. But hell, everything in Banff is pricey. There’s no closet space, just a few hangers on hooks, so our apt quickly felt cramped. There’s a very loud hum/ noise in this building, especially in hallway - I have no idea what it is - perhaps it’s from the aircons servicing the shopping centre below - but it was a very loud hum. We could open the bedroom window, but the hooting of the trains at night woke us up often, so it was a toss up of getting fresh air in or the room became super stuffy. Didn’t really have a good nights sleep during the whole stay as it was stuffy in the bedrooms. Also, the soap products in the bathroom provided no lather and I’d rather just use my own than cheap soap

Our stay at Basecamp Suites was excellent, clean and well equipped. Good location near restaurants and bars. Staff were excellent - Ash, Fiona, Aaron and Tyra are an asset to your business could not have been more helpful.

Communicate with the property management was effective. All though through sms and/or via e-mail. I did not have to visit the front desk at all for check-in and check-out. Electronic communications are quick and detailed. Property looks like it was newly renovated. New furniture and appliances. Very close proximity to public transits, restaurants and shopping. Will definitely stay again.

everything from check in, check out, logistic and customer communication were great, and location was also very good. BUT the only issue we have is the unit is actually very small for a 2 bedrooms, there wasn't even any closets or shelves to put stuff on, just some hooks on the wall of each of the rooms. I guess they are trying to charge for a two bedrooms (two queen beds) rate with a very small unit. With luggages, gears etc., the unit seem very cramped. Other than this "physical issue", everything else was great.

This place is all about location, which was fantastic steps away from shops and restaurants. Parking in Banff is an issue but there was always space in the car park next door for $30 a day. Downside was size. Bedrooms were small just a (very comfortable but small double) bed and hooks on the wall. There were no wardrobes or clothes storage at all. Only mirror in the apar**ent above the bathroom sink. Kitchen was well equipped. Overall good value for the location.

The staff at this property is exceptional. The property was clean. But, there s no parking and their directions on how to park cost us $75 in fines. There is one mirror in the apar**ent ONE! and it's in the bathroom. There isn't housekeeping but our requests for towels etc. was promptly met. The tub/shower combo is difficult and hard to get into. The location is excellent.
