Had booked a room for two nights at Fabhotels GRK Comforts. Paid an advance also. Had to postpone my trip by a day. Called up two days in advance and informed them that we would be teaching the next day. As earlier I had also informed that since the train arrives early, I would reach early in the morning and that I would be willing to pay extra for that. On the day of the trip I come to know that my room reservation stands the same but with late check in of next day. Who does that? I had asked for the same kind of reservation for the next day but this happened. Frequent travellers might know that but people like me who travel once in a while have no way of Knowing such things. The person in charge should have informed. I decided cancel the booking but they don’t return the advance. I feel very let down and feel that things should have been made clear to me. I will never book with Fabhotels again. On the day I have to travel I have to take the trouble of making alternate arrangements for stay . Is this called trouble free hotel experience? What a pain!
