藝術旅館

Gedateerd hotel. Badkamer oud en vies. (Douchekop volledig vol kalk en schimmel.) Heel erg gehorig. Hotel voordeur 2x op slot sta je voor een dichte deur midden op de dag. 1 pluspunt = ontbijt. Ik zou hier nooit meer naartoe gaan, echt je geld niet waard.

We were thoroughly charmed by La Posada del Arte. We were warmly greeted on arrival and were pleased to see that the hotel was located in a quiet area that was still close to the public thermal baths, a scenic waterfall, and many dining options. Our room was comfortable, breakfast was special, and the photos do not do justice to the lush, enchanting courtyard. Carl was a wonderful host (offering us access to laundry services, etc.), and the dogs were an unexpected bonus. We wish we had more time to spend at this property!

La Posada del Arte is a version of the Disney movie Encanto house. I can't say how extremely happy my family of 14 and I were with this absolutely beautiful posada. The images online don't do this place justice. The location is near everything you will need in Banos close to the thermal waterfalls, the downtown and great food options. The breakfast we had here was by far the best out of all of Ecuador I ordered an omelette with a side of pancake and fruits. My absolute favorite part of this cute wonderful place was the generosity and hospitality that Karl and his wife provided me. If you need a little escape from your everyday stress do yourself a favor and stay here. Be open minded to the nature of listening to a waterfall as you sleep. No TVS just you and pure bliss. Thank you Karl for making this posada very special

Nice hotel, well located near the center of town. Friendly staff with good breakfast. Also good internet. Hotel also has a restaurant. Lots of activities in and around Banos, both for adults and families with children. Town can become pretty crowded on weekends and during public holidays.

The lobby almost yells Enjoy your stay in our unique hotel. The rooms were clean, quiet, and comfortable. After being out late exploring the town we returned to the room and found we only had one set of towels. As it was 1 am we thought we were out of luck until morning. I went to look anyway and a staff member, seeing me roaming around, came out of his room and provided the needed items, very good service. The breakfast was better than many we had experienced and the hotel held our luggage while we went on a long hike. La Posada del Arte is an excellent place to lay your head.

Really enjoyed our stay here, for 3 nights. Karl was really welcoming and it felt like a second home. Nice clean rooms. Breakfast simple and delicious. Sat in the lovely courtyard having a few beers was nice. Also could easily have taken the 2 dogs with us !
