The Ringling House Bed and Breakfast surpassed our expectations in the most delightful ways! My two besties and I arrived on a Friday evening to a quiet and personalized welcome: complimentary wine and cheese as well as time to take in the historical grandeur of a Ringling residence. We chose adjoining rooms so that we could combine amenities but that was not necessary. Each room is unique and offers privacy and all that one might desire. Our rooms were clean, charming, and came with some welcoming extras. It is such a gift to sleep in, walk downstairs, and enjoy a delicious, homemade breakfast in a beautiful space. This is one of the PERKS of staying in a B & B versus other "on your own" short term stays. I am an early riser, so I enjoyed the additional luxury of walking around to view some historical items while listening to "old-timey" music. Our trio also benefitted from lounging with the owners, who shared stories and recommendations for our time in town. We were visiting in a non-touristy (cold) season, yet Baraboo did not disappoint! The museums had opened and the downtown shops and bars were thriving. Plus, no competing crowds. Don't hesitate to make Baraboo, Wisconsin a long weekend getaway any time of year. There is much history and hosting that will greet you. Our thanks to Julie and Stuart for revitalizing this marvelous bed and breakfast and for attending to all the important and pampering details. It will go down in our traveling history as one of our Greatest Stays on Earth!

This historic home did not disappoint! Beautiful woodwork, stained glass windows, and nicely appointed rooms. The hosts were gracious and made us feel welcome in their beautiful home. The grounds were very pretty too! The breakfast was delicious and served on the dining room table that Mr. Ringling and family used.

I would highly recommend this historical B & B. It has been lovingly maintained by private ownership and updated to accomadate my needs. The location is perfect for easy access to Baraboo, Devils Lake, the Wisconsin Dells.... I will definitely stay again.

The breakfast is very good. The property is historic and the first floor parlors are nice. Upstairs the rooms are old. Guests should be prepared for carrying bags upstairs as there is no elevator. I found myself wanting more ice than was available for guests. The proprietors seem overwhelmed with their work as if helping guests is almost more than they can handle.

If you love history this place is a charmer! Loved wine and cheese at 5:30 and breakfast was delicious - and enough to power me around Devils Bluffs!! Lots to see and do in Baraboo and things for everyone's taste- antiques, awesome bookstore, museums....

Clean room and comfortable bed. Great bathroom. Ample parking. This place has so much potential but a lot of TLC is needed to make this worth the cost. The hallways and many of the parlors are cluttered. Low lighting, so can't see the beautiful wood work. Breakfast was just OK. The outside desperately needs to be painted. Entrance was from the back, not the front porch, and it was a narrow and musty way to come in. It was a hot and humid day so maybe that was why the Innkeeper seemed so low energy and not particularly friendly.

The house and room were fine. The breakfast was sad. My wife is a vegetarian and not an egg eater so she got oatmeal instead of the eggs florentine like I got. No fruit no nuts plain oatmeal. Not sure what was below my eggs, if it was an English muffin it wasn’t toasted felt like it came right out of the freezer. No pleasantries from Julie, how was dinner what are your plans etc. we won’t be back

Beautiful, clean, and full of historic charm. The owners were friendly and informative. The breakfast each morning is generous and was delicious. The neighborhood is walkable to town. The town is full of circus history. Loved our stay here.

The house is beautiful and the rooms are very comfortable with modern conveniences. Breakfast was delicious. The inn is well-located, very walkable to downtown. Julie and Stuart are great hosts and very helpful and accommodating for any special requests. We enjoyed our stay in Baraboo and hope to be back!
