Ottima struttura in splendida posizione per la visita ai siti del Vallo di Adriano. Le camere sono poste sopra un pub, ottima cene con proposte locali, italiane e thailandesi (nazione di nascita della signora). Noi abbiamo dormito in una camera spaziosa e pulita con grande finestre sui due lati. Colazione buona abbondante, la componente salata viene ordinata la sera prima quella dolce e le bevande sono a buffet

Superb stay at the Bowes hotel which is a small but very friendly atmosphere with staff who are very helpful There are 6 rooms and ours was excellent. The food, breakfast and evening meal were very good. If in this area again wouldn't hesitate to book here.

Brilliant small hotel, great welcome and a lovely room with views over the valley, situated in the lovely village of bardon mill,great food and a warm welcome from Debbie ,couldn't fault our stay ,great value for money highly recommend thank you

Stayed one night with hubby on our way to Scotland….the inn was clean, staff friendly…the room was a little on the small side & guite warm.. we had an evening meal in the bar, food was very good, breakfast was good also…. Not too much room to park, lucky if there was space opposite, but otherwise you were parking on the road. Not idea. Price was reasonable …Overall the stay was pleasant.

From start to finish the customer service was fantastic , and will highly recommend the food it’s amazing , unfortunately we couldn’t sample the breakfast as we was leaving early in the morning , however they knocked us up a takeaway lunch ( Spot on too👍) If I was in the area again I will be looking to stay there again .

Fantastic two day stay here. Couldn't fault it. Fab & friendly sraff. The food was excellent. My partner and I both agreed that the full English breakfast on a very cold winters day in front of the roaring fire was really first class - possibly the best breakfast ever! Room was lovely, very comfortable. Beautiful little village. Well worth a visit!

Spent two lovely nights in this pub, everyone was very friendly, was lovely and clean and warm. Breakfast was excellent.

Arriving in the UK for a 2 week volunteer dig at Vindolanda, this was the perfect place to get acclimated. Very clean, very friendly and helpful staff. Delicious food. Highly recommend the fish & chips, the pork belly rigatoni. And of course, the sticky toffee pudding. Mwah. Delicious.

very friendly staff, the food was plentiful and good, its central to what we wanted to see, we will definitely go again and stay longer. I would recommend a visit to anyone.

The room was lovely and clean, bed was very comfy. Food was amazing, evening meal excellent. The cooked breakfast was one of the best we have ever had. Will definitely be back. Ideal base for the train to different locations.
