Convenient nice place to stay

Clean basic. But you do get lake view (it’s only 50m away), good wifi, pool, air-conditioning, fridge, microwave, plates (which housekeeping clean). No food/room service. Looks like a nice family have bought a run-down motel but they are running it well. Yes it could do with investment but for now it’s decent budget accommodation. I enjoyed the old pool more than I have enjoyed far more modern ones. I stayed Saturday and Sunday and it was quiet. You can sit in chairs outside your room and view the lake but this isn’t private (they should install screens between each terrace). BBQ facility looked a bit miserable though there are very close public BBQs on the lakeside.

The room was exactly as it was described so we knew what to expect. This is an older style motel that could do with an upgrade, but at the price, good value. It was a very tidy and clean room. We parked at the back of our unit and entered by the back door. We loved the fact that through the front sliding door we could sit outside the front of our room and view the lake and the grazing ducks. Would definitely recommend to family and friends and we will be coming back again.

Neat and clean rooms with plenty of space to move around including 1 double bed, plus a single bed and a sofa, dining table and chairs. The room had a lovely verandah to sit on overlooking Lake Bonney.

We had a room on the side but could still see the lake and could sit outside and admire the sunset. Undercover car park was good as it was raining when we arrived. It is an older motel but for the price great value. Room was clean and tidy, serviced daily.

Stayed here one night. This place has seen better days but overall it was good accommodation. $140 is good value for the quality of the room. The bedroom was a little small but the bed itself was comfortable. Bathroom could do with an upgrade. As others have indicated the lake is literally outside the door.

The rooms have been recently renovated with new equipment and split systems, Toaster, Kettle, tea & coffee, toiletries, new carpet, Office shuts at 1800 hours. BBQ, and pool available, No Meals are available due to covid restrictions at this stage.

We stay every year in the house accommodation. The new owners are lovely & have begun making lots of upgrades including new air-conditioning, beds, TV etc. A beautiful location with the Lake just across the road & a short walk to the town centre.
