The Lydoun Motel汽車旅館

I recently stayed at the Lydoun Motel for the second time, this time for 3 nights. For an affordable motel, the Lydoun excels for cleanliness, amenity and courtesy from the staff. I was visiting Chiltern to birdwatch but would highly recommend the Lydoun whether you are just passing through or want to stay a while to explore the area/look for birds.

great accommodation in a quaint village but do not go on a Tuesday as all food places shut including the pub

Excellent place to stay for the week of working locally. It was an easy walk to town for supplies, dinner etc. Clean facilities, comfortable and friendly service.

So clean, lots of amenities. Dont firget to bring your own cereal / toast as they have plates etc.

Loved this accomodation. Set in a lovely quiet location. The room was well stocked with all the comforts of home. Would highly recommend

Booked for 2 nites and loved the location so much we stay another 2 nites. Bed was so comfy, the man at reception was very nice. Room was dark so great for sleeping. Will definitely return. Pool for swimming and bbq .

Host was friendly and helpful, room was very clean and tea making facilities were well presented. Not many dining options in Chiltern but pubs have good food and are very friendly. All shops and cafes are very welcoming.

I was recently in this part of the state for business, due to a tennis event I was unable to procure accommodation in Albury and Wodonga for the night...I remembered that this motel existed about 27 kilometres away. I called the motel and the lady was able to confirm a room for me. On arrival, a gentleman served me and he was lovely. I made my way to my room to put my things before I went looking for dinner. The room is well appointed for a budget motel, it meets all needs. Further the motel and the grounds are exceptionally well maintained. The guests in the room next door were excited by the proximity of the train line nearby and were doing a bit of train spotting. I was less excited. I was even less excited when I found that the bed is a bit too firm for my liking and slept badly... not only did I sleep badly because of the mattress, I roused awake for each train that went past. ( I am sure I would have slept through if the mattress and pillow were better) So whilst it is located in a stunning village, with great customer service ... this motel is not for me. If they upgraded the bedding, I would return... but it would be unlikely for them to do so.

A quiet place for an overnight stop. Basic but clean and comfortable.
