Dit is een mooi en bijzonder vormgegeven hotel. Alle kamers zijn verschillend en veel mooie facetten zijn te onderkennen. Zeker een aanrader om eens anders te verblijven en te slapen in deze mooie kamers. Bediening was uiterst vriendelijk en deskundig.

C’est réellement un petit joyau que cet hôtel dans une ville qui peut être une excellente étape sur la route vers l’océan. On est tout de suite séduit par la décoration à nul autre pareille. Des artistes exposent dans les parties communes, les chambres ont toutes une thématique. L’accueil est bienveillant, le personnel a envie de nous faire plaisir. Le pub est particulièrement agréable et le repas au restaurant un grand moment Le petit-déjeuner est copieux et contribue un peu plus à rendre cette étape mémorable Sans hésitation on recommande

Amazing décor, quaint en-suite double bedroom, comfy and warm in Winter. Owners Rick & Sue fantastic hosts and constantly present. Lamb cutlets the best ever - Cuisine varied and every dish tasty . Cocktails in bar with world famous pianist(Richard Wilson) playing any and every request with aplomb. Dedicated staff with Candice phoning me minutes after our departure to say I'd left my gown and a bag behind. Attended an exceptional writing retreat at Karoo Art Hotel which was beautifully backed by hotel's attentive staff. Well worth the trip there.

We had a delightful dining experience at The Karoo Art Hotel in Barrydale. The ambience was beautifully set with a cozy and artistic vibe that added to the overall enjoyment of our evening. Reservations are essential to secure a spot, so be sure to book in advance. My husband and I savored the must-have Karoo lamb curry dish, accompanied by sambals and extra chili for those who enjoy a bit of heat. The lamb was succulent and flavorful, making it a memorable meal. The service was excellent, and the staff ensured we had a pleasant dining experience. The Karoo Art Hotel offers a special experience. The owner collected a lot off old items. Bed and good were good.

I stayed in a room in the back of the hotel. It was quite dark and dingy, there was a weedy little patio with a loud generator nearby. There were no other quiet places to hang out - there was tacky loud American pop on the front porch (which otherwise would have been a nice place to sit and read), the generator noise ruined the otherwise nice back garden area. Breakfast was good, and the people were friendly.
