I went at Christmas and March 2024.. Clive McNish the general manager can to greet us both times with posative energy and a wonderful positivity. His attention to details to ensure all guests have a one of a kind experience was insane. All of the staff were absolutely exemplary. The seamless service, attention to all the detail was slim to none and sets yourselves (Chewton) apart from other leading hotels. In particular, Clive McNish his hand written birthday card to my mother was a little act of kindness, however left a big impression on my mother. I am forever ImPressed and grateful for all the acts your kindly gave to us which made my mother and I feel a million dollars. The upgrade, smiles, chocolates and care. We will return soon. Clive, be very proud of yourself and your team. They are Simply extraordinary.

From start to finish - amazing! Every single member of staff, from front of house; to the wonderful lady who served endless cups of tea; the gentleman that fetched our luggage; the young man behind the bar; the breakfast team; sommelier - every single member of staff polite, friendly, and so helpful. 5 star rooms, food, everything! The team loved it and I shall certainly return on my own soon for a most relaxing time. Thank you

I celebrated my birthday here and it was absolutely amazing. The service was incredible with the staff going above and beyond to pre-empt our every need. We also loved the facilities. The beautiful pool area, sauna and steam, the croquet, the tennis, the golf….and we took a lovely bike ride down to the beach. The food at the dining room was also excellent (apart from the curry which was a little bland). The staff giving us delicious lemon shortbread for our drive home was the cherry on top of the cake!

We stayed in the Tree House for three nights This was our fourth visit and everything was absolutely fantastic. I would say that Chewton Glen have really improved their standards The tree house was so comfortable and relaxing, possibly the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in We loved the laid back atmosphere and hot tub on the balcony Breakfasts were great, much better now as you can add hot items to the hamper which already has a lovely cold selection Our meal in the newly decorated ( much more modern) dining room was excellent The refurbished spa looked modern and up to date , we had some treatments which were great Although the hotel was fully booked it never felt too busy or hectic Above all, the improvement in staff was most noticeable. Without exception, everyone was brilliant, especially in the lovely bar Can’t wait to come back again

Invited for afternoon tea with friends. Delicious sandwiches and scones, sadly cakes tasteless and uninteresting. Not such a good welcome as we were 15 mins early and told off for not completing booking form correctly stating food preferences!

We have visited Chewton glen twice now and both times myself and my wife have been very impressed with the facility and grounds, staff always very welcoming and accommodating. Afternoon tea service was great plus excellent food and service in the 'Kitchen' Would strongly recommend Chewton glen to anyone.

We had an amazing relaxing couple of days, at this magnificent hotel that combines utmost luxury with traditional elegance, set in beautiful surroundings, along with spa and recreational facilities to suit everyone, helped along by the most helpful staff I have experienced in many years

Stayed a few days for my birthday. Suite had a hot tub which was nice. It was a generous space and quiet. The breakfasts were a little underwhelming and not in keeping with the reputation and vibe of the hotel. More premier inn buffet than Michelin star. Also the main restaurant seems to have lost some ambition and finesse since my first visit in the 2000s. However the location is great and actually the casual dining restaurant was surprisingly good.
