We were in Baton Rouge for our granddaughter’s LSU graduation. The hotel was very close to campus. The staff was very friendly. Our room was really nice, clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.

If you have a student attending LSU, sporting event, or business at LSU, then this is your place. The location was perfect for an LSU visit. Restaurants nearby and shopping local. The pool was really nice and there was a seating area with grills for use. The complimentary breakfast was also very good. We will definitely plan on staying there again when we visit our daughter.

We were there for 2 nights. The room was not serviced. I had to ask that it be serviced when I returned from a day out. The room servicing staff had left. A person attended and did a perfunctory job of making the bed, emptied the bins and brought new towels. It was a shame as the room was otherwise fine and the bed was comfortable.

Sonesta is an easy, conveniently located, good value, place to stay with a decent daily breakfast for quick visits to LSU Campus or Sporting Event. The staff, rooms, and location make this an ideal pick for a convenient bang fro the buck stay. Don't think twice, book it now. Economically sound decision. You won't go wrong. Eric from Harding.

Great hotel, location right by LSU. Walking distance to Walk Ons. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, great pillows! Staff very nice & friendly! The free breakfast was a great way to start the day! I highly recommend this hotel.

Room & facilities were clean and smelled good. Close to LSU and several dining options. Staff very friendly. Buffet breakfast was good. Only wish the breakfast opened early on the weekends.

Great staff but limited places to walk outside, though an easy walk to LSU’s campus

I stayed 2 weeks. Staff in the breakfast area very rude. Gum very dirty. No cleaning in the room.
