豪扎普費爾之家民宿(Haus Holzapfel)

Clean and comfortable, with a nice garden and pool to unwind in on a journey through the Karoo. Host was friendly and in - contact. I appreciated that the parking was secure and covered because we were travelling with a trailer.

We traveled from Cape town into a very hot Beaufort west. The only unfortunate part is that we could not book in before 2pm ( I have asked) so we had to hang around the small,hot town from 9am. On the other hand our stay was very pleasant.the Aircon in the room was amazing,the pool was clean and pleasant.there is enough outside seating and shade. The room was equipped perfectly for our short stay.

Ronelle was waiting to receive us and made us feel very welcome. It was very hot when we arrived so the pool was a welcome reprieve. The location is easy to find, safe and quiet. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone travelling to Beaufort West.

What an absolute gem. Friendly staff, modern rooms, we had an amazingly comfortable bed, beautiful pool for the kids to play in and relaxing environment. We will highly recommend this place even if it is just for one night's stay

Very welcoming, great overnight accommodation, nice outside space and great pool to cool off after long traveling. Great to have info about restaurants in the room as well as a map of the town, no loadshedding a definite bonus.Overall a great experience

No TV, toilet in the entrance, fridge very noisy, Furniture very old, must renovated, lamps on bed not to use, Could not make breakfast, small table, they give us a voucher for Breakfast in the restaurant, staff friendly

I had a very unfortunate Road surface incident between Welkom and Kimberley and hence could nor make it to Beaufort West to enjoy accommodation. I trust that I will be refunded as the cancelation was as a result of road incident and was forced to overnight

We booked an overnight stay at Haus Holzapfel. Big room and bathroom with all the basics a person need. Easy check in, clean and comfortable Friendly service and Ronel checked that we were satisfied and had all we needed. Recommendable

Entire room smelled of smoke intensely even the bedding on every bed and it smelled like the sheets were not even changed at all. The family apartment on bookings.com showed grass and a pool for kids to swim in but the unit we were given had none of that. It felt unsafe with walls low enough to almost jump over. One of the children's beds were placed under the stairs with a solid concrete really close to the bed so my one son while trying out the beds before we decided to just leave completely bumped his head so hard that he had a proper egg on his head. It was honestly an extremely unpleasant experience. We arrived at 14:00 and mentioned we were not happy and we were then told that we have to drive to the other address to go swim there. The smoke was very intense in the room like somebody had smoked in there for 24 hours straight with all windows closed.
