The resort is lovely in October with the changing of the fall leaves! Guest rooms are well-appointed, beds/linens crisp and clean. Restaurants are a little pricey, but the food was delicious and well worth the cost. Spa and swimming pool were so relaxing. Hiking trails and grounds were well-maintained. Staff was excellent in every setting! Very quiet getaway for two!

We stayed here twice in in the same week while on our way to Ohio and back. Room was clean and comfortable. Property was clean. Used the indoor pool which was well kept. Although, my digital key would not open the pool door. I really only had 2 issues. First, I went down to the hotel desk to obtain a extra keycard for room. I normally use my digital key but was traveling with my parents so wanted to get them a keycard. Got to desk and no one was there. I waited and in the meantime someone else came to wait. Then we heard over a speaker welcoming us and that someone would be there soon. Still waiting and a third person got in line. I waited 5 mins for agent to come to desk. When she came I asked for a new card. She asked me my last name then asked me my room #. Never asked me for ID to make sure I was who I said I was. Now everyone in lobby heard my information. I let it go as my last name is hard to spell and hard to pronounce but felt that it was a lacking keeping my information secure. The second issue was breakfast. Kept running out of food and there was no fruit offered at all and didn’t have a lot of choices overall. Otherwise my stay was fine and pleasant. I would stay here again but probably would go elsewhere for breakfast.

This was a great place to stop for an overnight stay. Room is well appointed with 2 double beds, fridge, microwave and decent internet. There is tea, coffee and hot chocolate available at the front desk 24 hours. Do not be fooled by the sign at the front desk advising breakfast is a pastry and juice to-go. We were each provided with a bag containing a yogurt, juice (3 choices), water, granola bar, fruit cup and a pastry (many choices). It was the best breakfast we had on our trip. I recommend this place.
