弗雷肖農場(Quinta do Freixo)

Heerlijke plek om te verblijven. Kamers zijn ruim en compleet. Zwembad ligt perfect. Vanaf het complex kan je diverse wandelingen maken. In een half uur ben je in de drukte van verschillende steden. Prima ontbijt, mooie kaart voor diner. Goeie service en vriendelijk personeel. Echt een aanrader, idem voor het zusje quinta do mel. Met een nog betere diner kaart. Ik zou ze allebei aanbevelen.

Très belle adresse dans la nature au calme avec tout le confort… Des chambres parfaites grandes dotées d’un balcon sur la nature propre avec une grande salle bain … Les lieux sont impeccables très bien agencés avec goût Le gîte est adosse à une exploitation agricole dont la production sert au restaurant ( légumes fruits viandes œufs …) L’endroit est idyllique pour ceux qui aiment marcher ou faire du vélo (vtt ou de route) Des circuits sont fléchés depuis l’hôtel dans la nature environnante Le restaurant est bon les plats sont variés et de bonne prestation. Bref on a passé un très bon séjour aide en cela par l’équipe très sympathique ! Merci !!!

Heerlijk rustig hotel, met de auto kun je vanaf hier goed dagtripjes naar Tavira, Lagos of Faro plannen. Vriendelijk personeel, goed eten en een belachelijk uitgebreide menukaart. Het uitzicht is prachtig en de kamers zijn heerlijk. Klein nadeel zijn de wespen, ‘s ochtends lekker binnen ontbijten dus ;) Wij zouden hier zeker terugkomen!

Lors de notre circuit buggy avec Buggy Safari Algarve, le repas était compris et nous nous sommes donc retrouvés dans cet établissement. Ça été une belle découverte par le lieu calme en pleine nature et par les mets proposés. Mon mari a choisi le risotto de morue aux crevettes et moi la morue à la crème en gratin. C'était bon. Les autres personnes du groupe ont choisi le burger qui était bien copieux. Les produits sont fabriqués par eux-mêmes et pouvons acheter des confitures, liqueur de figues... de leur production. A faire !

Excelente para repousar, fazer caminhadas, andar de bicicleta , disfrutar da piscina. Apenas se ouve , de vez em quando, um avião que passa. Boas instalações, limpas e cuidadas, e amplos espaços para conversar, ler um livro...

Merveilleuses vacances dans cet endroit si beau et si calme. Endroit sobre, authentique , confortable. Personnel charmant, simple aux petits soins... Piscine appréciable et très bons cocktails. Bonne cuisine et démarche écoresponsable à saluer. Je recommande vivement ❤️

Quartos fantásticos com uma decoração moderna e campestre. Muito acolhedor e calmo. Perfeito para descansar e apanhar uns banhos de sol na piscina. O espaço envolvente é fantástico. O staff é super atencioso o que nos fez sentir em casa. Adorámos o pequeno almoço, tudo super caseiro e com muita qualidade. 5 estrelas, vamos voltar certamente. Obrigado, Diogo e Susana

This quinta is a very special place. It's location is excellent, in the mountains inland from the Algarve coast (about a 20-45 minute drive from many of the main coastal towns and a great base for exploring them). It is an agrotourism and farm-to-table property, in that they grow the produce on the farm and serve it in the full-service restaurant on the property - including the delicious jams they serve for breakfast. Breakfast was delicious - included freshly baked items, yogurt and fresh fruit, eggs, pancakes made to order. The rooms were upgraded and modern, yet in keeping with the simplicity of the farm setting and preserving elements of the original property. There a many hiking trails, and a pool, and simply beautiful landscape to enjoy. The farm has been in the family for generations, and the owner hosts a farm tour on a tractor and wagon twice a week (Tuesday and Thursday) in which he explains the history of the farm and their regenerative farming practices. There were some annoying small flies around - seems to be a seasonal thing in the early spring. It is a farm, after all, and such things come with the territory. We had some insect repellant wipes which did the trick.

Last minute overnighter but wish we could have stayed for much longer! Lovely welcome by the exceptionally cool Marcelo. Beautifully clean, simple though well appointed room. Gorgeous views and lovely pool. We enjoyed a delicious and well priced dinner and fabulously relaxed and tasty breakfast, much of the produce being home grown or locally sourced. We’d love to return.
