Upon arrival I tried to get in to check in and had to ring a button for the desk. When I stated that I was there to check in, the front counter person (hotel manager on duty) said she didn't have any more reservations and they were full. Then she finally let me in. I explained that I made reservations online, and her entire body language and tone was rude and condescending when she asked, "are you sure you're at the right place?" I showed her my confirmation and asked, "is this you?" She said yes. Then she asked if I was there the right night? I had to pull up the whole itinerary to prove to her that I was in the right place at the right time. She then made a very awkward phone call to a guest asking what name their reservation was under and then told me to have a seat while she checked to see if my room was ready. It's hard to explain all of the details of what transpired, but it appeared to me that she had people leave and then cleaned the room to meet my reservation. The check in process took no less than 45 minutes. Upon entering the room I noticed that the TV said "Welcome Rhonda" and it had two queen beds. I ordered a King. I called down to the front desk and told her about the mix up. She said, "yes, there was a mix up. You won't be charged extra." The nerve of this lady! I won't be charged extra for what I didn't order? I asked to speak to a manager. SHE WAS the manager! Absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional.
