海濱山林小屋(Oceanfront Lodge)

A lot of construction going on the pool was open one day then closed the next. Fitness center was closed the entire time. We asked for pool towels and the guy said usually we have you bring your own. The beach view is amazing! The walk to the beach is easy to access and so beautiful!! It is super quiet and relaxing. My kids loved the jetted bath. We would definitely stay again.

This place is a serious DUMP! Guy at the front desk staring at his phone. Rooms are filthy. Hair, dirt and stains on the sheets; floors sticky; shower hadn't been clean in a very long time; bugs (alive and dead) everywhere; the balcony haphazardly painted with plexiglass obscuring view of ocean and plastic chairs that were way too big for the space; the restaurant menu specials were considerably overpriced for ones written on a dry erase board. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in…and that was only due to the fact that the only other option was a motel 6, which, in hindsight was likely the better option. Would not recommend. Better off sleeping in your car.

The hotel has not been maintained well since I was there four years ago. Dining hours were very limited compared to my previous stay, and often the kitchen staff turned everything off and left early if "there was no one in there." The website advertised a free breakfast, which is not the case. It also advertised a pool, spa, sauna and fitness center, none of which were available until the end of my stay, and then only the pool. The hot tub was barely warm, the sauna was off, and the fitness center was closed. I used a credit card to hold the reservation and my partner used his card (a different account) to pay for the week's stay. They charged my credit card anyway. This was supposed to be my Holiday present...The wait staff and the bartenders were awesome and very apologetic when the kitchen closed before the advertised time. If they could have prepared the meals, they would have. This used to be my favorite place to stay in Crescent City but no longer.

Million dollar view, from a $20 room. The only contact I had with staff was at the front desk and they were great. The Plexiglass on the balcony was so filthy you couldn't see through it. Paint had been splashed on it and not cleaned off. Up in the rafters or was so much bird poop it was disgusting.

The hotel was falling apart. The location is fantastic and our room had a beautiful sea view, but there were disgusting stains on the furniture and the sink wouldn’t drain. We immediately moved out. They did give us a refund but this place really needs an upgrade.

We enjoyed the location of this hotel, being able to walk right outside to the beach is awesome! Staff is great! Definitely needs some updating and cleaning

Best view of the ocean! Balcony view of the beach and lighthouse! Price was great! staff was awesome. I will return!

The hotel was dirty and run down. Loud with tile as the flooring in the hallways. Beds were uncomfortable.
