新佛蘭德斯酒店(Hotel New Flanders)

Fantastic for the price we paid clean and nice staff very nice looking place loads to eat and drink within walking distance only downside no tea or coffee making stuff in the room, woold absolutely stay again tho and definitely plan to soon, BBQ grill place near by had amazing food

Eens ingecheckt, ging het langs een gang en oude lift naar de t****e verdieping. De geur die er heerst doet al niet veel goeds vermoeden. Eens aangekomen in de kamer 25 (aan de voorzijde van het gebouw, parallel met spoorweg) rook het ook in de kamer muf. Reinheid valt wel mee, alhoewel het niet kraakproces te noemen valt. Dus even raam open zetten om te verluchten. Dat is wel een levensgevaarlijke operatie, daar er geen valbescherming aan het raam staat en dit op amper 60cm boven de vloer opengaat. De wasbak was gebarsten. Verdelers voor shampoo of zeep leeg. De verdeler voor zakdoekjes leeg, maar dan wel vuilnis in het doosje. Eigenlijk valt het hotel niet aan te bevelen. € 74,00 voor een ondermaats hotel, zonder ontbijt. Enige aanrader is om tijdig een ander hotel te boeken. Prijs/kwaliteit zeker geen aanrader!

Op een ideale locatie gelegen oud hotel. Ik moest aan het werk in ‘t Bauhaus en dat is op 10 minuten loopafstand. Ik had speciaal een kamer aan de achterzijde gevraagd omdat ik geen last wilde hebben van het station. Het hotel is oud en gedateerd. De kamer was voor de prijs (59,-) prima. Het bed comfortabel en alles was redelijk schoon. Wel hing er een zwaar overheersende lucht van parfum en was er veel geluid te horen van omliggende kamers.

De badkamer was vies, het bed was aan 1 kant doorgezakt, en de uitcheck zou om 12 uur zijn maar om 11:10 stond er al iemand aan de deur te kloppen of we klaar waren…..

Une receptioniste froide,******e, qu'il ne faut absolument pas déranger et qui vous ignore si vous ne parlez pas Neerlandais. Franchement, elle devrait changer son orientation professionnelle, ça apporterait un plus a l'établissement !

Een verouderd hotel geen service Ook geen ontbijt bij te bestellen zoals in de beschrijving geen beker of glas voor wat te drinken of je tanden te poetsen het was redelijk schoon

Landing lights constantly flashing = electrical fault. Light above bed missing with wires hanging down in terminal blocks not taped up. Bathroom window rusty and paint missing around window frame. Dust on top of several things in the bathroom. Convenient for station and comfy bed is all I can say that is good about the place. Just like a cheap Belgian hotel in the 80s, but it wasn’t cheap!

I found black hairs in the bed (I am a blonde). The bedding was very worn and synthetic. I asked for a quiet room but instead I was kept awake by two woman. They screamed and chatted in the hallway, rustled with plastic bags and slammed doors until deep in the night. I had a strong impression they were working girls because I heard men come and go. When they came in they tried their card on every door and set of the 'wrong key' alarm on every door. This process repeated every 20 minutes or so. Before I came I asked th hotel for parking information and I got no reply. Also the wifi password was wrong but the staff could not tell me the correct one. The hotel is outdated and it smells of smoke despite no smoking signs. The staff is unfriendly.

Contrary to most of the recent comments it was all clean and tidy, with a brilliant restaurant in the house, with fantastic Asian-food for good value. We enjoyed our stay; after a few of their strong beer you don´t even hear the railway-station next door!
