The staff was very helpful and polite. I was pulling a trailer and they helped me find a spot safe and out of the way of incoming traffic. The room was clean, the water for showering was hot and plentiful. The room had a fridge, microwave and safe. The location was easy to find, and I would highly recommend this Microtel Inn!

We stay at Microtel’s whenever we can for a clean, comfortable stay at an appropriate price. This Macon, GA did not live up to our priors experiences elsewhere. Elevator floor was all stained & dirty, room was fairly clean but tub was actually dusty/dirty and towels were hung rather messy (but clean thank goodness). Bed comfortable but 3 square pillows smaller than a normal pillow were not enough and no spares in the closet cabinet. Bathroom fan didn’t work. We arrived at night after a long drive and didn’t report all this because we just wanted to sleep. No one was at the desk when we left so no chance to alert anyone. Not up to our Microtel past experiences.

Start with the good first. The hotel was in a good quiet area, close to the mall which had lots of restaurants and shopping. T The king bed was clean & comfortable. The sofa was stained and looked dirty and the chairs had pieces of food on them. Breakfast food was limited and the tables were not clean. We will not stay at this hotel again.

The room was filthy. We thought a window had been left open it was so warm and humid in the room. Air conditioner barely works. We set it to 60 and it was still very warm by 6am. Walls and cushions on window bench are all stained. The sheets had burn stains on them. I was going to call the front desk when I realized the phone had not been cleaned in what looked like years as a I used a wipe to clean the grime and gunk off. The carpet was dirty and stained and the bathroom barely looked like it had been wiped down. It was a last minute decision to stay as it was after 10pm when we checked in. So we stayed but will not be returning. After reading some of the reviews, the same automated reply gets sent that the next customer won’t have the same experience but be warned it was quite a disgusting experience. The night clerk was friendly, that was the only decent thing.

We’ve stayed twice now and both times were great experiences. Only complaint would be… we booked a king and apparently booking you can’t get a king with them. But not the hotels fault.

The room assigned had a very stringent smell that lasted for about three days. It is a hotel that allows pets. Requested a room that does not allow pets. The room obviously was used for pets as the strong smell was that of a sprayed pesticide.

Second time staying and opinions the same. Staff aren’t the friendliest but it’s clean and comfy for the price.

This hotel was super-clean, conveniently located, and very reasonably priced. The free breakfast was very good, including biscuits, eggs, sausage, waffles, fresh fruit, yogurt, and more. We will definitely stay here again! I also needed to print something, and they had a computer and printer for guests. Very impressed.

Pros: Clean, quiet, inexpensive. One of the best showers I've had in a hotel. Cons: Very noisy heating/AC unit. The property shows a few signs of neglect: Treadmill not working, crack in the bathtub, etc. None really interfered with my stay. I would stay again, especially given the price.
