Looks like it hasn't been updated since 1973.

Place did not feel safe and was not clean. Other guests milling about and being noisy until wee hours of the morning. The staff was friendly but I will not stay there again nor recommend the place to others.

Loud guests would not calm down well after 10PM. Loud group could be heard from the lobby around 12PM and didn't quiet down until after 1:30AM!!!!!!!!!!!! Room floor, toilet and sink was a mess. Another guest that checked out spit toothpaste goo all over sink. Hairs on toilet seat and on tub.

This place feels sketchy mainly because the area. The rooms are funky and a little off but perfectly fine for a short stay.

I like the dude rancher style and decor, though i was hoping for an upgraded room. The heater fan was noisy and it took some time to get the room heated. My stay was satisfactory.

Staff was very friendly and nice. The building is very aged hence historic. Mattress needs love, sheets are scratchy, i could not get the cool air to come on it was very warm in the room. Even with brick walls i could heart guests talking outside etc.

Liked, Located down town, Very nice staff, arrived within 10 minutes when called, Decent room. Hot coffee all night. grocery store 1 block away, Parking infront of room, when drivers can part between 2 lines.. Disliked, Locals roaming through the parking lot day and night, looking in customers vehicles. Abandoned car taking 2 spaces in limited parking area. Ants in the room, Remote for tv didnt work. It is pet friendly but, has no grass or place for pet to go. its all pavement. finally, i downgraded my room -17$ to a first level where i can watch my truck and, was told i had already paid online so they couldnt change the invoice. they ran my card when i checked out. paid 34$ for a lesser room with ants.

This establishment is our home-away-from-home. It is a quaint, independent hotel that is actually a landmark. It has aged well, with lots of renovations and investments made into its infrastructure. The best part, however, is the friendliness of the staff. They are genuinely nice people and go the "extra mile" to ensure that our stay is always comfortable. For example, we asked for an early check in and a late check out and were accommodated. It will be even better when the restaurant associated with the hotel re-opens; their breakfasts were always nice.

We did not end up staying. There was a bedbug and we checked out. The front desk confirmed it and refunded us. Room 103.
