考克哈文阿姆斯賓館(Cockhaven Arms)

Heerlijk schone kamers, goede keuken, vriendelijk personeel. Mooie locatie. Prima bedden. Prachtig uitzicht. Vlakbij is een leuk stadje aan de zee. We hebben een stukje van het South West coast wandelpad gelopen.

Stayed here with family to visit a cousin- warm and friendly pub- restaurant with some great food, and surprisingly modern, clean and well appointed rooms- worth a stay if you are in the area. Nice little balcony off the room, and breakfast included

We have just had the best lunchtime meal here. The food was great as was the service. I will be recommending the Cockhaven Arms to all of my friends. Perfect setting to relax and enjoy a catch up! The staff were so helpful and the food was perfectly cooked. Ask for the lemon meringue pie, you won't be disappointed!

We have visited the Cockhaven many times and each time we have been disappointed. Despite the nice ambiance and ample parking, the restaurant/bar always seems empty. The staff, who are usually seated at a table in front of the bar, are unwelcoming and show no interest in greeting or engaging with the customers; service is brusque, it feels uncomfortable as though we are intruding. Additionally, the food is of poor quality and poorly prepared. After our experiences, we have collectively decided not to return to this venue.

Great experience, staff friendly and helpful, enjoyable meal, good menu, stayed overnight, room excellent view from our balcony, good facilities, tea coffee and water, very clean, looking forward to our next visit, easy to get to and plenty of parking

We needed to stay in the area for a few days but due to circumstances did not know how long we would be there. It was no problem. The Cockhaven allowed us to go from day to day without fuss. The staff were all so helpful. We had a lovely room which was spotlessly clean and very spacious. The food at The Cockhaven was wonderful and great value for money. Thankyou, we'll see you again!

Visited with family on their Wednesday steak night. Two of us had sirloin steaks which were beautifully-cooked and came with chips, tomato, mushroom and great onion rings-excellent food and great value. We chose two of the sauces : peppercorn and mushroom, both of which were good. White wine was served in an ice bucket-as it should be. We also enjoyed a red wine Prices of wine are reasonable. Our table also had scampi and fish and chips, both came with good, home-made tartare sauce. The place was quite busy for a village on a Wednesday-perhaps due to the £13.50 steak offer! Service staff could do with a bit more training as the welcome was not particularly warm and I would describe the interaction with us as procedural rather than friendly and I am not sure why they played the radio station over the PA rather than some nice music. After our meal I had a pleasant chat with the chef.

Lovely place to stay and the food is excellent . however , room 9 is the smallest of their rooms and the bathroom was very poor . Would give that a miss if possible . Lots of redecorating needed , it’s very tired in places .. ladies toilet is a bit bleak .

We have been many years and twice a year to visit my dad and always a lovely experience. We usually book The Clipper room as love the space and sea view. The staff are always friendly and give you a warm welcome! Fab place!
