米爾布萊克浦酒店(Mere Hotel Blackpool)

I never ever leave reviews on here but after my stay here last weekend, I felt like I needed to warn you all to stay away! It was an expensive 2 nights at £90 per night so I was expecting something better than what we got. Soon as we walked through the door, the smell of ******** hit us like a brick in the face, was awful. The room, a family room was a bunkbed with double bed underneath so all 3 of us cramped on a bunkbed, there were 2 windows and only one had curtains. There was mould in the corner of the room then we got to the bathroom....well where do I start. Shower was hanging off the wall, water was squirting everywhere and it was a serious danger as the electrics were exposed as it was all hanging off, I spoke to the owner about this problem they assured us they would fix the problem as they couldn't move us rooms....that never happened so none of us could have a shower the whole time we were there! When we had breakfast, they gave us the wrong food....stuff we hadn't ordered so when we asked for what we ordered we were told that theyre not changing it! The marmite they gave us was out of date and once again we told the owner who didn't apologize or offer to fix the problems. There is no parking, parking near this b&b was around £15/20 per night which I wouldn't mind paying if the place was decent but it was AWFUL!!! The only good thing about this b&b was location!

Firstly I’d like to say that the owners were very accommodating but this room sadly left the whole experience of our stay there severely lacking. Upon arrival there was a strong smell of ******** which could be smelt throughout the hotel landings. There were children besides our own child who were staying at the hotel at the time. The smell lasted a few days until we asked other guests if they experienced it too, which they had. We were shown to our room and were taken aback by the state of it. I booked this room because it said it was an executive family room. That title couldn’t be any further from the truth. It was an absolute disgrace as you can see from the photographs. I dropped my phone off the back of the bedside table and was stunned to see the state the wall was in and the worrying stain on the side of the unit. The most dangerous thing about the room was the smoke detector or lack of a working one. The funniest thing was the tv being propped up by an aerosol can, it just about summed up the room. Totally lacking in the TLC department as can be seen from the ripped wallpaper, cracked ceiling and filthy shower unit. Going downstairs for breakfast we were asked whether we wanted a small one or a gut buster which consisted of two of everything. It looked delicious, but sadly the quality just wasn’t there. It all seemed to have been cooked very early then kept warm until we came down, including the eggs. This made the eggs rubbery in texture, the sausages weren’t much better and the only freshly cooked item was the toast. We got into conversation with one of the owners and was shocked when he told us the normal price of the room was £110 a night!!! Well I’m very sorry but I wouldn’t pay anywhere near that to stay there! The room/rooms are desperately in need of a makeover.
