Fabulous hotel in a convenient and quiet location with excellent staff. Travelling through the town centre and decided to stay for one night so this was a late, last minute booking.

We can highly recommend the Grosvenor Arms in Shaftesbury -- it was a way point on our travels and met all our needs. Parking at Angel Lane Car Park is reimbursed -- it is about a 7 minute walk, but we had no difficulty un/loading in front of the hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and the bathroom modern.

Very comfortable and relaxing stay. Arrived soaked and cold. Soon warm, dry fed and watered. Bar and restaurant great, and super breakfast too. Rooms are modern, clean, spacious. Able to dry out wet clothes and walking boots! Couldn’t fault it.
