唐卡斯特巴特里皇冠酒店(The Crown Hotel Bawtry-Doncaster)

The rooms are very outdated and in desperate need of an upgrade. The bed was very uncomfortable and the pillows were the lumpiest I've ever experienced. Lighting was poor in the bedroom and there were stains on the carpet. The bath was extremely small and narrow and the door to the bathroom didn't shut properly with a gap being left so you could be seen on the loo. Shower panel was full of mould. You are charged for parking in the hotel car park which is poor considering the price for a night's stay. In conclusion the hotel is over priced for the standards, we would not stay here again.

This is not a four star hotel sorry. The bathroom had the toilet roll holder hanging off , the top was badly stained and dirty, the sink was yellow round the plug and the carpet in the room and in the hallway was in need of a good hoover. When we went to check in there was a wedding on but we couldn’t get to the reception desk because of how busy it was. I know that it’s good for business so fair enough. When we got up the next morning, the smell was awful it smelled like burning food. We then realised that there was a cafe attached to the hotel rooms floor and they had their door wide open. It was not a good smell and certainly not what you want on your way to breakfast. The staff were absolutely lovely but the rooms are in dire need of a good clean and refurb. Not worth the money .

What a total joke! Arrived 11 .30 am ordered coffees which never arrived ……no breakfast when there’s a sign outside saying Sunday breakfast until 12 noon. Ordered a Diet Coke which was ‘flat’, was given menus for lunch which we ordered and paid for. 20 minutes later someone appeared to say they should not of taken lunch orders until 12.30 do we want to wait or refund. AT NO point did anyone even the RUDE manager behind the desk even bother to apologise! An absolute joke of a place ! Never again !

The food here is exceptional the extensive menu choices make this ideal to cater for a wide range of palates and ensure people who enjoy basic traditional fare right through to people who enjoy more high end dishes can dine here. The staff are a pleasure and seem happy to help which is unusual in my recent experiences. The breakfast is also very good here.

All the staff at the crown are very kind,friendly, helpful and caring about looking after there guests!!! The food there is to die for! It's a Great place to stay and would highly recommend a stay at this hotel for anyone looking to stay in the area!!! Jimmy and Elliott ( night/ early morning staff ) took great care of sorting out a lunch for us as we had to leave early B4 breakfast 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼. Tip top around service!!

Came mid week with a friend didn’t have an evening meal but had a twin room which was a great size. Had breakfast in the AM which was beautiful ! Staff were friendly had no issues would come back again when visiting Bawtry which is hopefully soon as it’s a hidden gem

Stayed here with friends and it was such a beautiful venue. The rooms are beautiful the staff are friendly and the food is incredible my favourite was the pancakes for breakfast. The house champagne is one of the best champagnes too ! Can’t wait to come back !

I made a mistake with my booking but luckily the fantastic team at reception (Chloe,Sam,Emily) looked after us with no fuss and big smiles, great location and wonderful rooms also great food, I would definitely recommend the crown if visiting Bawtry👍

Service and good were great. Lovely environment and relaxed atmosphere. Lucy hannah very attentative and polite. We ordered the Beef for Sunday Lunch and it was perfectly cooked. We choose a weekend when there was a classic car show on but we managed to park in back of the hotel.
