歷史悠久的布魯克代爾旅館，聖克魯斯山(The Historic Brookdale Lodge, Santa Cruz Mountains)

I liked that the front desk staff was professional, knowledgeable, courteous and friendly. I liked that the rooms were very clean and had a fairly new microwave and refrigerator. Also, I enjoyed eating at the small table outside on the balcony. I also liked eating a delicious lunch and dinner at this hotel restaurant. Although the Marilyn Monroe Building my husband and I stayed at consist of two floors I desired an elevator to carry up my heavy luggage and our other smaller totes.

We enjoyed our stay, and the music on Friday night was great. The food and drink were both fine, but I have two points to raise. While we were checking in, two people, presumably employees, came into Reception and began a loud conversation which made it difficult to hear the instructions from the receptionist. Secondly, I had to leave a deposit of $100 which has yet to be returned to me.

Very noisy. Felt kind of like a motel six if you want me to be honest. Thought there’d be something special about it, so I didn’t mind paying the extra money for like a really cool hotel in the woods but there wasn’t anything special about it. It felt very creepy and unsafe. If I could go back, I would’ve spent less money to be closer to town in a nicer hotel.

This is an excellent property! The rooms are huge and so are the balconies that overlook the super cute restaurant and courtyard. That bar and restaurant on property had great food & craft beer selection and the fact that there is a small grocery store on the lower level was amazing. I would totally recommend this place to anyone.

There wasn't much unique about this lodge, we were expecting more history. The place was clean though there was a fall hazard between carpeting and floor. We were placed in a room two doors from the highway which was nerve wracking. Staff was lovely though.

My husband and I stayed at the Brookdale Lodge and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our room is large and comfortable and very clean and we had a nice little outdoor patio to sit in. The night we went there there was a lovely band and a barbecue. We would definitely return and highly recommend it.

It was great! Very clean and close to alot of activities. It was a bummer that they were not done with the renovations. The cafe had amazing food and 50s 60s theme. Very cute

I didn't like the spectre that ran up behind me and my dog during the last night there when I was taking him out to pee. Comfy beds.

I adore the magic, rich history and location of the Brookdale Lodge. I was slightly disappointed that the Bar and Grill was not open as I stayed during the week, but it is a lively and fun space on the weekends. Spacious rooms with private entrance and my favorite…the private outdoor porch facing the magnificent redwoods with the sounds of the river close by.
