Within a 60 to 90 minute drive on US 221 North are the charming and quaint towns of Valle Cruces, Banner Elk, and Blowing Rock, in addition to Boone. Along the way you may want to check out Grandfather Mountain State Park and its famous swinging bridge. If you enjoy a college-town vibe, Appalachian State University is in Boone. If traveling via the Blue Ridge Parkway, there are numerous trailheads for hiking along this route, as well as Overlooks that provide expansive vistas of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The engineering marvel that is Linn Cove Viaduct is also along this route. The views are breath taking.The 8 person Bullfrog hot tub is relaxing with a waterfall, lights, and music. Awesome pool table. There are games for kids, WiFi, Samsung TV with fire stick.
