Cet hôtel est joliment situé sur la colline surplombant Braga, près du sanctuaire de Notre Dame de Sameiro. Cela dit, il ressemble plutôt un établissement pour séminaires religieux et le restaurant fait vraiment cantine. Pas vraiment une ambiance idéale pour un repas, même avec des plats locaux comme le bacalao.

Hotel situa-se junto ao santuário do Sameiro, um refúgio na natureza que em tempo de inverno fica místico. Quarto era confortável, pequeno almoço continental era bom. Staff simpático. Mas para quem quer visitar o centro de Braga é algo distante.

Loin de ce à quoi on s'attend d'un hôtel 3 étoiles ! Emplacement sinistre, on dirait un bâtiment désaffecté... La chambre 106 qui nous a été attribuée a 2 lits avec des couvre lits troués ! la salle d'eau avait des traces au sol, joints autour du fond de douche noir de moisissures... Le réceptionniste, après constat, nous a installés dans la chambre 116. Quant au petit déjeuner... A la hauteur d'un simple residencial ou pension de famille. Vraiment décevant !

We were getting married in Braga and stayed here on our first trip. It was the worst and most uncomfortable experience. We went in November and it was so cold, there was no heating and the “duvets” were the old thin blankets laid on top of old wooden beds with the thinnest mattress. The deco was old, rooms and bathroom were dirty and lights barely worked. Worst hotel I have ever stayed at. My husband and I ended up getting a cold because we couldn’t sleep well and we were consistently cold. The hotel was empty except some exchange students, only one receptionist for certain hours of the day and breakfast was very limited (croissants/toast and some fruit). They offered free parking though. As part of our wedding research, we viewed about 15 other hotels including the other Bon Jesus sister hotels and honestly, all the other options are far better than this. If you’re on a budget, Basic Braga is far more comfortable and better location despite being a 2* (should be 3* but lacks a third set of lifts). If something more luxurious then any of the other Bom Jesus hotels or the Melia are nicer.
