Baymont by Wyndham Brenham

The two ladies at check-in were very nice. Breakfast was supposed to be at 6:30. The first morning I went down at 6:35. The doors into the breakfast area were locked. No one was at the front desk. I rang the bell. A man there said he had already rung it twice. A couple of minutes later a woman came out and didn't even acknowledge me. I finally asked if there was going to be breakfast. She said, "What are you looking for?" I'm thinking, well, food. She said, "Coffee?" I said, "No. Breakfast." It was almost 6:45 by then. She said to give her 15 minutes. I waited close to 20 minutes and she was still not ready putting out a small selection of cereal, milk, juice, a few bananas, a couple of apples, bread and muffins. The second morning I went down at 6:40. The doors to the breakfast area were open, but the lights weren't on. The same lady from the day before was putting out juice and milk, and there was nothing else. When she came back out from the kitchen with cereal, I asked her if there was a light switch, and she said she'd have to turn it on. I sat in the dark for another 6 or 7 minutes while she put out a couple of things, and then she finally turned on the lights. It took her a few more minutes to bring out bread, muffins and small danish. Coffee was still there from the day before. This lady didn't get in any hurry. I would understand being late one morning, but being rude and late again the 2nd day and not caring that people were waiting will keep me from returning.

Hot tub did NOT WORK- pool water temperature was 48 Degrees!! Besides from that all else 4.4 I had to hook up TV Bed was VERY COMFORTABLE!! I will stay again!!

I missed that there was no bar area to sit and have a chat and a drink. Bathroom was not super clean. Staff was great, ok breakfast.

Formerly a La Quinta which Wyndham obviously rebranded due to lack of business. There were very few guests here. It’s very clean in every aspect. Breakfast amenities are not what La Quinta offers. Enough dining possibilities within several minutes walk or drive. I’m building a home in a neighboring area and would definitely stay here again during our construction.

Staff was very helpful with our special needs. Thank you so much for making my parents visit comfortable.

In the room the moquette and the armchair were dirty, with large spots. A chair was really worn out. No breakfast and no coffee available

We arrived late Friday night. We were greeted warmly by the front desk person. She was thorough with instructions. The room was clean, comfortable, all linens & towels had that just washed scent. A/C, heat, TV all worked well. Standard free breakfast, coffee was good. Location was great. Check out was easy. Thank you Baymount by Wyndham for a very pleasant experience.

It was a good stay, however it could have been better as the commode rocked a bit, the bed was too high for a 5 ft 2 in person, the carpet was torn & the office chair had a chunk out of the arm. Also for the money, we paid, there were no proteins on the breakfast bar.

The stay was great. Very clean room and bathroom. Spacious living area. Will definitely stay again.
